Watching tonight, it's so obvious that a huge amount of Premier League goals and chances come from low balls into the box from wide across the front of the defender - and we almost never ever put that type of ball in.

That's pretty much the only ball that Obertan tries to play.

That's pretty much the only ball that Obertan tries to play.

 

 

It's not like, he waits and waits and waits until the defenders are all in position, gets to the byline and then passes it for one of them to kick away. Never does he fizz it first time right across the six yard box while they're running towards their own goal.

It's not like, he waits and waits and waits until the defenders are all in position, gets to the byline and then passes it for one of them to kick away. Never does he fizz it first time right across the six yard box while they're running towards their own goal.

 

Neither striker gambles near post (which with our crossing, you'd think, would be their best bet). The Dembas continue to get in each other's way centrally and at the back stick while the first defender clears unchallenged :fuuu:
