Guest Dontooner
Well done for the subs, just watched the replay for the goal , Campbell opened up a path for the pass. Campbell looks good, like the way he moves, god forbid but he moves a bit like a young owen.
Parky
Good subs today. My only quibble is Guti still starting when he's clearly been crap for 100 years.
ATB
We created next to nothing and was mostly s***. But aye he´s great. Get to f***. We were largely s**** but his subs were well timed and correctly placed; Haidara had a good impact down the left and Marveaux set up the winner. Tiote was s*** and got subbed and his faith in Cisse was rewarded with the winner. If you're going to have a go at him for the mess we got in, he has to get equal praise for getting us out of it. Maybe we should have started that way then. And the subs was after their goal even of we was struggling.

Interpolic
Come from behind to win our last three league games at home now. Couldn't make it up. True, I'm really glad we appear to have sorted that out. Just shows these things are psychological blocks and once you've cracked it you've cracked it. Next: set penises. Cajun
Players pulled him out of the clarts again. Yeah the player he brought on and the player he left on despite a terrible performance.
TRon
Why does he have to wait until we're behind to get the right players on the pitch?

He reacted to us going a goal down with the subs, and in the end they helped us to win the game.
Spudil
Class manager tbh What an inspired decision to bring Marveaux on too.
Cajun
Why does he have to wait until we're behind to get the right players on the pitch? To show off his new found ability to win from behind.

Parky
Can't really knock pards today, we had almost total control of the game and the subs were perfect.
The College Dropout
Why does he have to wait until we're behind to get the right players on the pitch? We looked desperate 5 minutes before the penalty. Crowd players, everyone knew we needed a change.

TRon
Can't really knock pards today, we had almost total control of the game and the subs were perfect. The subs should have been made earlier. They aren't always going to pull rabbits out of the hat in the last 10 mins.
dcmk
His substitutes changed the game this week, that's a sign of a good manager! At least according to some after the Swansea game. And also Pardew at the moment is completely rubbishing this 'can't come from behind and win' myth. Good stuff indeed!

tmonkey
Good substitutions today. But as Beren said in the match thread, the gameplan is a horrible one that is more hopeful than anything, and as predicted it wasn't until we went behind that we actually started to attack Stoke with a bit of intent. Which is actually pretty shocking given that this was a home game against a mediocre Premiership side full of cloggers at a point in the season where relegation is still a big worry. TRon
Stoke are a terrible side. I think if we'd picked a more adventurous side and gone for it we'd have won comfortably.
wormy
BBC report says we deservedly won. Stoke didn't deserve a point so guess they're right. Dominance that for the most part that certainly didn't translate to quality end product. It would've told a story in itself if we didn't grab the winner. Neither team could do shit all outside of a set piece.
Guest
Stoke are a terrible side. I think if we'd picked a more adventurous side and gone for it we'd have won comfortably. It was Mbiwa for Coloccini, and Tiote for Perch, away from being the same team which played brilliantly against Chelsea, and scored 4 against Southampton. We won and imo it was a good performance. We controlled it and we should have buried more of the chances that came our way.
Guest Dontooner
Watching the Pool and Spurs game, we are no where near the level of this two teams and tbh its not down to the player quality. Pardew ffs get a good second in, don't just grow a beard to look wise.
