Credit to Pardew to set the team up finally to attack , tbh his 4-4-2 setups are has far more pattern in its play. We should revert back to it if its the type of football he plays.

Still a below average manager

Agree.

Beautiful scenes after the goal. Deserves kudos for actually setting us up properly for the second game in a row. Maybe he might convince himself we can win playing proper football instead of negative grind.

Wasn't convinced by the subs at all, if anything they nearly cost us the game. Fresh legs were probably helpful. Gouffran looked far from shot though. Nice to see Adam get a run out. More of the same please Alan.

Set us out to win the game. Thought the switches after Santon went off were ridiculous, but Jonas actually had a brilliant game at left-back and was a huge part of our good attacking play.

Well done, Pards - and absolutely wonderful scenes at the end.

That was a million times better than the rigid shit we've peddled all season...I think people are playing down that performance too much. Some really unfotunate stuff in that game  and it was totally deserved. Played similarly all season and that would have been business as usual instead of the coronary inducing maelstrom that turned out to be. Where has that pressure been all season? Pardew did right today but what a fucking knob

The way you're going on we played some scintillating stuff at times which we certainly didn't. We got the three points which at this stage of the season is very much needed but don't try and gloss over the fact it we weren't exactly brilliant today.

You could only pray for Ashely to be more forward thinking and surprise us with a manager than could bring us results. We deserved to win today and Cisse imo is class player would score tons in with good service. Finding decent positions credit to him

We played well, had rotten luck, but his insistence on bringing Shola on, especially for the freshest player out there, could have easily cost us the game. Absolutely killed our dominance, didn't get it back until the AC sub (which I give him credit for, was what was needed to get the energy back).

ddint look unpopular with them fans like.

his tactic of waiting till 90+ mins to score, giving opposition no time to equalise is pretty clever tbh.

Troll master. Even trains our players how to hit the post/crossbar just to make it more dramatic. LAD!

I thought we were tbh. Never gave the Fulham defence a moment's piece. It was rotten luck and some poor decision-making (which, I'll grant, is synonymous with a 'not brilliant performance') that meant we didn't absolutely cane them.

Nobody has said anything approaching scintillating football. He just set us up to play football and we looked far better for it. We passed well, on the ground and looked more fluid than we have in months if not the majority of games this season. Lacking edge up front but everyone worked for each other got into space to receive passes and used their brains. Scandalous that should even be a surprise given that is a basic expectation of playing football.. but thats how bad this year has been.

Quite happy with how he had us playing today, we were still lacking ideas sometimes attacking but we looked better than usual. Not sure why Campbell was so deep when he came on. Really hope he is learning that these players need a license to play.

I don't understand who some people here want to bring in as a forward when Shola is the only option on the bench we have ? We should have bought a strike last summer and January but we didn't so we are stuck with Shola hopefully until we get at least one striker this summer.

This cant detract from the abysmal season he's been liable to have largely put us through. I hope this game is part of the sharp learning curve he needs to take many lessons from going into next season. (massiveassumptionwearesafe)
