There were those who said give him time to build his own team, think that time had come and gone. Personally, we still play horrible football its not the players ffs its the brain, just too low in capacity.

What I really don't get is how the players always seem to have such glowing praise for him. He may be a brilliant man-manager and speak to them all individually like a second Dad but don't they notice on the field of play that it's his instructions that have them so ineffective?

The players all loved Dalglish when he was in charge - one of the best NE sports writers told me that, and he hated the guy as we was difficult for the media to deal with...

Didn't stop the club firing him, and things weren't as bad under Dalglish as they are under Pardew now...

Is that meant to be a joke?Has he being here for what 6 months? He made his team and build the tactics around those players. Jonas , Ryan taylor and such.

Btw 7 games ain't a short time tbh, i doubt we would have better performances till the end of the year. We have only being showing Poor performances not sure in which part of his tenure, have you seen good performances.

Seriously considering the low standard with some, therel must have been only a hand full of them since Pardew's Arrival his winning loosing stats alone paint a very real picture. Delusional.

He has to go for me.  I gave him the benefit of the doubt when the new signings rolled in as our remaining squad all seemed to be in a slump, but it seems the virus has spread.

You don't know at what level a player follows his managers instructions, but if it's to the letter then we're sinking fast.  We seem so disjointed it's shocking. What do they actually work on in training?

Other teams with a weaker squad on paper always seem to play as a team and have a go. He's gone twin turboshit in my eyes.

He is going nowhere because he is the ultimate YES man & will spout any shite the club ask him to.

Sadly this is close to the truth.

Yes they should have, changing a manager at this point is a panic measure, you may get a new manager bounce, but its not guarenteed.

Pardew has had a poor season, but you would be mad to get rid of him now, 10 games into next season with no improvement, yes, it would probably be the right thing to do.

The extra money in TV rights next season is affecting judgment for many chairmen I suspect.

I disagree with that, 10 games into the season and most managers will be in place at other clubs and 10 games into the season and any new manager will have lost the chance of working with the players in pre-season. I would like to see him go now but in reality, the best time to get rid of him will be once the season is over, as long as we are still picking up points this season.

This season and last season underline the importance of a good start to the season, and the negative effects of having a shit start. If we make a change at all, it should be in the summer. Ashley has an acceptable representative sample upon which to make his decision, or not as the case is more likely to be.

Anything less than 6 from the next two and i'll start to get worried. Villa & Wigan are getting stronger.

I think 3 against Fulham and we're safe.

If we give Sunderland 3, we are right back in it. I expect Villa/Wigan to pick up a good number of points from now until the end. QPR too. QPR are a bit too far away but the other two can definitely catch us.

3 drags a few of the other teams in though, and I'd be very surprised if we don't win 2 of the last 5-6 games even if we don't beat Sunderland.

let's look at it this way, appointed december 2010 so 2 years and 3 months

in that 2 years and 3 months if you sit aside the actual results, and i mean last seasons 5th and this seasons fuckfest, where has he actually taken us in that 2 years?  what's his mark been on the playing side, what changes has he made to the way we played under his predecessor?

let's consider that hughton was sacked because "an individual with more managerial experience [was] needed to take the club forward"

in my opinion the only way we've moved forward in those 2 years when looked at overall is that pardew has been handed a some younger, more talented players than he inherited...if the club has moved forward in those 2 years it's mainly in terms of the quality of recruitment

can anyone honestly say pardew has taken us forward in any way shape or form on the pitch?

how much time is enough time?

Between 10 games into the next season and christmas seems to be the new limit.

True but our run-in isn't the best and IMO the Europa is so important.

The other teams would also expect to get at least 3 from the next 2.

this is what i don't understand, in 2 years he's not managed to stamp his authority on the quality of our play yet in the next 6-9 months he's definitely going to do that is he?  on what are people basing this judgement?

one win and a couple of draws should see us safe. Hopefully we get more than that though, with the games we have left we should be looking to try and remain unbeaten until the end of the season.

As for sacking Pardew thats the easy part , Getting some one better may be a lot harder than most people think.

Once we get a RB in better than Simpson we'll play much better.

Once we get a CB in better than Williamson we will play much better.

Once we get rid of Ba and move Cisse central we will play much better.
