LV
Agreed. And have been for a while apart from the odd great free kick.
ATB
The worst part isn´t the delivery either. Why just aim at an isolated Saylor?!
Guest loven Mag 11
Knock them long to Saylor running in at the back post and watch it fail like it has for the past 2 seasons. Absolute waste.
Chase
Todays set pieces and crosses were terrible, it took till the 87th minute when Mervaux came on for us to have a decent cross put into the box and even then tere was no one on the end of it. First decent free kick I remember was Cabaye's right at the death.
Decky
Corners are the biggest problem. They are real goal scoring opportunities that we are just wasting every single time.
Hanshithispantz
We may as well just play them short if they aren't within shooting distance/angle.

Foluwashola
Don't understand how Cabaye, a technically gifted player, can fail to deliver a corner at a reasonable height. Every time
Revolution Number 9
Got to the point where I was desperate for the players to keep it in rather than play for a corner.
Guest palnese
corners are shocking and the free kicks are even worse. why do why keep hoofing it into the box when we never create anything from it? fucking disgusting. can't believe pards doesn't see this. Guest Realist
Corners should seriously just be taken short. Barca style.
Dave
Apparently we've worked out the perfect corner. Ben Arfa executed it against Spurs.
Skeletor
I remember when we beat Arsenal 1-0 in our first season back. Every time they got a corner it was pressure off. We're now that team. Funny how we used to be so good at them under Hughton.
Ginola
We're near enough the worst team in the league at attacking corners. Never look close to scoring from them.
Guest bimpy474
Worse than Sunday League at times, embarrassing at this level. Just terrible.
Andy
Our crossing in general is shit, not just on set pieces. Every ball into the box is floated towards a man with no pace on it instead of being whipped into a dangerous area. Embarassing at times, especially when you look at the ability of some of the players doing it.
Sifu
Time to bring back the Williamson tactic.

We're now that team. Funny how we used to be so good at them under Hughton. Barton used to be really creative from set pieces tbf to him. Guest BooBoo
Bad set piece takers+ poor aerial attackers= waste of time.
Mistle17
Sunday League standard.
JH
Corners always hit the first man, freekicks are always knocked wide to a central defender to climb and knock it into the box (normally, failing to do so). We're so one-dimensional that it's embarrassing. Could probably line up 11 randomers out of the stand to defend one of our set pieces.
JH
Incidentally, why do we float crosses/corners/freekicks? I rarely see it from other clubs and it rarely works. No pace, no direction and it gives a GK chance to position himself to catch easily. It's been going on since Barton was here.
