Guest bimpy474
I had the horror of watching a teammate have a heart attack and die on the pitch. To see the colour drain from someone, so they turn grey in seconds is something you can never forget, but as bad as that was the worse thing was his 16 year old son was paying for us too. Chris_R
Want a midfielder who can win alot in the air and drive us forward. And a centre Half. Make that two if Colo goes. This. Sissokho or M'Vila would be class. Looks like we have enquired about both. If Mbwia is interested he surely makes perfect sense. Captain material, can play all across the back and would cost the same if not less than bloody Tompkins. M'Vila looks more likely to be QPR bound, can't see us paying out another 8 mill. Why would anyone go to QPR. I'd consider it if it was a West Ham / Demba Ba-esque contract. Ie bucketloads of money and a free transfer clause if they go down. Fenham Mag
He came through the Lyon academy at the same time as HBA , did he not? I hope they get on
Dinho lad
How quick is he? Can someone give a comparison? Walcott quick, well he was before his injuries i don't know if he has lost speed or anything hopefully not. According to his coach, he's back to his previous physical levels. Pilko
Hopefully we get this latest cheese-eating surrender monkey 'over the line' sooner rather than later, and then we can concentrate on that all important centre-back signing.

toontownman
Surely obafemi was quicker than Bellamy, close call though. Never seen anyone as quick as martins.
Fenham Mag
Surely obafemi was quicker than Bellamy, close call though. Never seen anyone as quick as martins. He couldn't run that fast with the ball though.
Mole_Toonfan
Surely obafemi was quicker than Bellamy, close call though. Never seen anyone as quick as martins. Bellamy was a footballer though, Martins was an athlete.

Skeletor
Martins was the quickest but like Obertan he looked slower with the ball.
Guest Open_C
You know, France wouldn't need to worry about meaningless international friendlies if the whole squad and manager were playing together every week. I'm sure they'll see the sound logic in this and Deschamps and the rest will be on their way soon
Cajun
Surely obafemi was quicker than Bellamy, close call though. Never seen anyone as quick as martins. Bellamy could use that pace to good effect though.

Guest Open_C
Martins was far quicker off the ball but Bellamy was far quicker on it. Aye, and Bellamy was also a good deal more consistent on it. Still miss the twisty-faced whining little no-necked fucker, to this day.
Superior Acuña
I particularly remember a goal Bellamy scored in that 5-1 against Blackburn when it was only 2-1 with something like 5 mins to go. Unbelievable - lightning.
