TRon
We should offer him a pay cut just in case he's not sure about leaving yet.
Sifu
Absolutely toothless without him.
Skeletor
Good thing we've been so casual about buying strikers.
Varadi
League results without Remy this season: mackems 0-3 Chelsea 0-3 Spurs 0-4 Fulham 0-1 Great stuff.
Guest neesy111
That's only this year. You've forgot the 4-0 drubbing at man city and the 0-0 draw v west ham at the start of the season.
Varadi
Ouch. Just the 0-15 then

Yes but does that mean back to play against Everton on Tuesday or just back in training?
The College Dropout
Our draw is dependent on wages. Not really because he wouldn't come here for more wages if Arsenal come knocking.... Anyway he's injured for 3 games eh? 3 losses then. Arsenal will certainly offer bigger wages though. If we can offer the most wages (in real life circumstances) he would join us. Eddy Chibas
The loan fee has paid for itself. With a midfield that rarely pushes forward, and is instructed not to take risks off-the-ball hence a poor goal return, Remy's goal tally has played a massive part in reaching the 40pt objective. Would be gutting for QPR's hierarchy if their highest prized asset were to break-down (with a serious muscle injury, or worse), while putting in a decent shift for a club that is going through the motions, and is unlikely to seriously compete with other suitors. Guest zicomartin
I was thinking they (QPR) should be allowed to recall him (Remy) for a refund of 1 million or so, if he refuses to sign permanently for us, prob against the rules, I dunno... to try to get them promoted in the play-offs.. But being a world cup year, that would never happen.

Interpolic
Not sure if Arsenal will be interested tbh, have a feeling he might end up at Spurs for some reason.
Mole_Toonfan
Disagree that he would join us if we offered him more wages tbh. He did it for QPR but i think the main reason was he knew by end of the season he could have put himself in the shop window for a bigger team to get him while collecting huge wages for 6 months. Also like it or not QPR are closer to us than we are to Arsenal under this regime, if Arsenal came knocking irrelevant of the wages on offer he'd go there no doubt about it. DJ_NUFC
At this moment it looks like he's off, going by the lack of any conviction about keeping him from Pardew and Fat Boy. They're not even coming out with strong words to the effect of signing him by hook or crook. It's the usual dilly-dallying. Maybe they're just being realistic, and if a club like Arsenal comes along, he's off.

He's sold himself very well here and will have a pick of many clubs this summer. As ever, we were just a stepping stone.

But Arsenal would offer more than we would anyway so it's irrelevant. If we put in a good offer only a bigger club or a club willing to do a QPR/Pompey could top us. Tiotes Witch Doctor
Not that we will, but we should be breaking the bank if necessary to keep him, easily worth 15 million.

If we weren't prepared to pay £8m plus an an extra £1m a year over a 4-5yr contract then we won't be pay those wages at £15m...

You'd like to think... Scary thing is we were fighting for our survival that window and we still didn't push the boat out a little... Big mistake in the short and long run unless we get him for the additional £6m to the £2m paid for loan and he accepts our wage offer...
