For us he'd probably be our highest earner, for Arsenal he'd be a back up so they probably didn't want to pay him that much to sit on the bench and be an impact sub. I have seen Douglas on more than one occasion say we were. Even if he is right, paying loan wages is a little different to a full time contract tbh.
