Surely that's a training kit, no?

If not, then it does seem using the green and yellow is to encourage mega sales of them. Just to shut the fans up for playing on Thursday nights.

Perhaps, though it does look more like a kit to me. Kind of follows on from the dishcloth shite they're going with.

Isn't Chevrolet their training kit sponsor?

They knock out all sorts of shit in Asia. I remember when they were being linked with Saudi Telecom as a sponsor when I was in Thailand and you can buy shirts already with that on.

Chevy sponsor looks terrible.

Wish someone would over pay for our rights one day. We can't even get that! We get a shit company that underpaid with a terribly shit logo.

We should be sponsored by a local children's hospice or the like, something worthwhile, that highlights a good cause IMO

Other PL teams have done it (Villa, Norwich etc)

I love MLS team names. IMPACT! REVOLUTION!

I respect the teams who don't opt for European-inspired names. Chicago Fire S.C. is probably the best mix between traditional European football and American sports naming conventions.

D.C. United (wasn't a union between two clubs)

Real Salt Lake (not royally endowed)

Sporting Kansas City

FC Dallas/Seattle Sounders FC/Toronto FC/Vancouver Whitecaps FC (FC doesn't stand for Football Club)

FC does in fact stand for Football Club.

Not in those cases though. They're just letters, not initials. The full name isn't "Football Club Dallas", for instance.

Edit: it appears Seattle does expand their name to include "Football Club" on occasion.
