mozy
I'd drive him there myself for £18m. That's a crazy, crazy price for a player who can only play well in one role.
Ikon
IF we use the cash we get for him on top of what we already have then i'd carry him there myself for that price.

Spend that £18m on a right winger & left back while still buying another CB and striker with the money we have and i would be over the moon. Sadly that money would be instantly marked down for next year though.

captainhaircut
Looks like we're going to play him right wing to accommodate him in the side so I'm more than happy to sell him if we use the money for a proper right winger. He does a decent job there but a winger who goes past his man and can cross the ball would be superb.
Willow
I'd only sell him if that kind of money was spent on 2-3 new defenders. I really want him to stay though.
Tiotes Witch Doctor
He's average ability wise, but I really dislike him for his lack of commitment last season, just sulked around the pitch and didn't give a flying fuck. Lots of the players were like that but Sissoko was by far in the top 3 offenders, now he realises no fucker wants him hes been making noises that hes happy here and "committing his future" and what not. Would be happy to get rid if replaced well.

Ikon
People advocating selling one of our better players Yes! IF it meant making our team better overall. In my opinion he's limited as a player.

The College Dropout
People advocating selling one of our better players This. I was one of his biggest critics. But he has his strengths and weaknesses. Even with Wijnaldum we are still a very one paced side.

Sissoko, Janmaat and Perez were basically the only ones that tried to create things during our bad spell last season
Ikon
To make it clear, no one will pay that amount of money for him anyway so it's kind of pointless. Move on...
Kasper
Can't really blame the guy for getting visibly frustrated at times. He had almost (Perez) zero movement around him and had to force things himself to try to push us up the pitch. The lack of tactics was so apparent with the way we struggled to pass the ball to a guy in a positive forward moving position. Sissoko was one of the few who could still make something happen by using his individual skill & strenght to make a quick turn from a negative position and dash forward. Sho Time
He's French, of course he's going to sulk - especially when things were going as catastrophically as last season. The game against Liverpool when he got sent off to me was completely done on purpose, way more than Williamson against Leicester and even worse than Debuchy when Liverpool thrashed us 0-6. With a new manager and things (so far) looking promising, we could yet see the best of Sissoko this season and I definitely wouldn't consider selling him. ponsaelius
He's not the kind of player I like, but he's still one of our best players. Only a lunatic would disagree.
Andy84
Despite some of his performances last season you really can't use it as a barometer on the true value of him to us. Last season was an absolute s*** storm where we were an absolute shambles under Carver. He still scored important goals for us and I think he would be a huge asset next season

TRon
I'd drive him there myself for £18m. That's a crazy, crazy price for a player who can only play well in one role. I said it earlier in this thread that those outside Newcastle will rate him a lot higher than the fans. £18m is indeed a good price if it's true. But we'll be weaker without him. I haven't seen Wijnaldum yet so have no idea whether he can do the job so I'll hold judgement on whether it's wise to sell just yet. For all the critics though I will say this: try getting £18m for Ginger Jack who is joint top with goals and assists.
