Don't want to see him drag his carcass back to Dareley.  Really hope this is true but unfortunately if it relies on Pogba I can see it dragging out until near the end of Augusut.  Exactly what we don't need

What does it say about Pardew that some of the players signed for him went to PSG (x2), Chelsea, Roma, Inter, Arsenal, and now potentially Real Madrid...yet he couldn't make a success out of them.

Poor hard done by little Al and that horrible transfer policy he had to deal with.

Just set a date on when he has to be sold or at least have had an offer accepted by. Make it the first game. Then if no one's got serious just refuse to do business. Don't let then dictate when we have no need to

There's absolutely no way this is going on until Monday. What with the open day and open training session planned on the St James' turf and that being Sissoko's first day back at graft.  Wont happen.

"The bad news is we're not getting Pogba, the good news is we are getting Sissoko"

Can't wait until he fakes high blood pressure to scupper his move so he stays.

Football is a crazy game. Two fuckers playing for most of the season who couldn't be arsed keep their team in the league are rewarded with plum moves.

Wouldn't it be great if someday there was some moral obligation on clubs to not keep these egos inflated.

Sissoko is class on his day.  His day was obviously either against a "big" team or on TV, but still.  Will he have more games like that when he gets his move to a "big" club?  If not, why not?

No because his technique and/or decision making won't allow it.

Any player will improve training with Ronaldo, Modric, Kroos, Bale etc every day in comparison to Colback, Gouffran, Tiote & Shelvey though

He trained with Ben Arfa, Cabaye ect, he's trained with top players for France.  His control is just shite and no amount of training with top players will change that at his age.  He's good on the counter, running into space, because his lack of ball control isn't a issue there and he's powerful and quick.  That's why he usually did better against the bigger sides, because they'd come out and attack us and leave gaps on the counter.  Sit back and ask him to play through you though and he's fucked, he's not a good passer and he often overuns the ball.
