Ronaldo
Nah he was crap for a lot of last season. So was everyone though. Like I say, it's some poor performances, it's not a general long-term decline. Yep. And Colo's poor play I think can be attributed a lot to his personal struggles last year. He was much better after the transfer window, that's for sure.
alexf
Proper jekyll and hyde player this guy. Fucking atrocious on all of those goals.

Tooj
Ah the old a player is missing for a bit and mysteriously he has become a better player in that time frame.
Gallowgate Toon
One bad game and this lad's straight back in the really bad books? He'd been woeful today but was the pick of the bunch for the last 4 games or whatever.
Ronaldo
Ah the old a player is missing for a bit and mysteriously he has become a better player in that time frame. Better than who? Two players who can't and won't compete physically. Have a fucking word.

Nobody
Cacapa vs Pompey esque that half from him.

Two players who can't and won't compete physically. Have a fucking word. You're making Taylor sound like Sol Campbell in his prime. Everton don't just have power they also have a lot of pace as well which is something he has always struggled against in the past. From the reports of what type of player Douglas is I really can't understand why* we didn't sign him to be that more domineering central defensive presence. *Aye Kinner pulled the plug but you know what I mean. Ronaldo
Tooj, you're a fucking joke with this shit, man. Wake up.
The College Dropout
Ronaldo and I have maintained for a long time that the partnership would not work. Similar weaknesses.
Ronaldo
Taylor is shit, MYM has been horrendous and may become a better player. IMO MYM will 100% become a better player, nobody is disputing that.
Dave
Taylor is a decent player and historically works pretty well with Coloccini. Yanga-Mbiwa looks like he could end up better but has had a fucking mare tonight and deserves a spell on the bench.
jdckelly
Ronaldo and I have maintained for a long time that the partnership would not work. Similar weaknesses. this, a cb partnership is a very important thing and Colo and Mbwia doesn't work
alexf
I know it's all hindsight but Williamson has won nearly everything in the air in this 2nd half.

Kanj
We need to find a CB who can partner Mapou tbh. A big strong healthy fucking lad
Guest icemanblue
Likes a horror show, this lad. He's still young and that, but, howay, you can't play like that at this level.
colinmk
Williamson often plays well when he comes into the team now and again, he can't handle a run of games though.
alexf
I like mapou and when he's good he's very good but he's been involved in some of the worst defensive displays i've ever seen in his short time with us so far. Fully deserved to be hooked at half time. You can't defend like that and be allowed to get away with it.
Shush
Williamson often plays well when he comes into the team now and again, he can't handle a run of games though. Was thinking the same. He seem to be decent in the air for us tonight as Colo and MYM weren't up for it.
Ronaldo
Colo was absolute crap all game. At least Mapou is still young and will get better as he develops and learns the English game.
jdckelly
he and colo can't start together really simple as that
oldtype
Probably the long-term replacement for Colo rather than a partner. Not too bothered about his horrific form. Colo was even worse his first season. The Premier League takes getting used to for CBs.
Kanj
We need to sign a CB capable of handling the likes of Lukaku and is young enough to build a great partnership with Mapou.
