The other games today - 2012/13

Also seen that Real Sociedad are 4th. Knew they were doing fairly well but not that well. Hope they get into Europe too.

Actually, on that topic, are Malaga banned from Europe for the next 2/3 years? If so, what happens if they finish in a European qualification spot? Goes to the team below?

Yeah. They have appealed to the CAS, but chances are it will be tossed out. It will go to the team below.

Acquafresca with his first goal tonight. He'll freshen things up for Levante upfront, imho.

 14 bookings in that game, bloody hell. Is Juan Ignacio Martínez likely to get a move 'up' soon do you reckon?

Depends on what is considered a move "up". Most of the usual outsiders (Atlético/Sevilla/Valencia/Málaga) just switched managers or have pretty safe ones.

Just a higher profile club really, one where he'd not have to penny pinch to such a degree but that isn't such an exhaustive list in Spain these days.

Levante indeed don't have a pot to piss on, but most clubs outside the usual suspects are in the same position nowadays.

Think he'd be a great fit for Betis, but Mel is doing wonderfully well there.
