David28
Wrong move by Ferguson I suppose ( and hope ). Confidence is growing.
SEMTEX
All 4 Norwich goals on the bench. Dafty.
Disco
More surprised by the Nani selection tbh.
Mole_Toonfan
I wonder if he wants a team that will keep its shape and not be passengers, because lets be honest Rooney and Kagawa were below standards in the first leg. That is the only reason i can think of why he's done it, even then its a bit confusing. Not bad couple of players to bring on if you need to though. Tooj
Rooney was terrible in the first leg.
David28
More surprised by the Nani selection tbh. Aye, never seems to start in the 'big games' just like once Berbatov. But, the real surprise is still Rooney.
David28
Rooney was terrible in the first leg. He's still Rooney who normally produces and creates for them.
Fugazi
Bench: Lindegaard, Evans, Valencia, Kagawa, Rooney, Young, Hernandez

David28
Also, Rooney was vital in defence during the first leg for them.

Disco
Fergie will cop it big time off the press if it doesn't work, biggest game of the season and he's binned off Englands alleged best player.
Neil
I'm more surprised that Rooney is benched, rather than it making me think Real will definitely win. That team is still easily good enough to win, let alone the strong bench.
Tooj
Rooney was terrible in the first leg. He's still Rooney who normally produces and creates for them. He's very inconsistent though. Ferguson knows what he's doing and fair play to him for having the testicular fortitude for leaving him out.

Ferguson knows what he's doing and fair play to him for having the testicular fortitude for leaving him out. I'm admring Sir Ales and thinks he's one of the best. But, sometimes, in the very big games he gets it wrong. Remember his last CL final againt Barca? Owen over Berbatov on the bench? Just an example... Mole_Toonfan
Also, Rooney was vital in defence during the first leg for them. Don't agree, time and time again Rafeal was left 2 v 1 against Coentrao and Ronaldo.

Don't agree, time and time again Rafeal was left 2 v 1 against Coentrao and Ronaldo. His workrate still was/is 10 times the workrate of Nani.

Tooj
Although it won't happen I hope Ronaldo does go back to play for them. We're nowhere near them and you always want to see the best players in your league.
Ronaldo
I'd agree with that. Think it will happen, mind.
David28
I'd agree with that. Think it will happen, mind. Agree. Think we'll see him back in the PL soon. As well as Jose.

Ketsbaia
My one non-NUFC wish for this summer is to get Jose back in England. He's brilliant.
