Neil
Good to see David Villa back playing well and linking up with Messi so much. Still got a hell of a lot to offer at the very top level.
Village Idiot
Tamudo vs Barça is like Ameobi vs Sunderland. Always does it.

Guest Craig-NUFC
Sunderland legend Raul Tamudo makes it 3-1 with his first touch. Sunderland legend? Seem to remember Sunderland being linked with him quite a few years ago and it was like they were signing Pele in his prime.
Nobody
Alves' hair man, he wants slapping so hard. Just put the game on, holy shit
Neil
When was the last time a visiting team had more shots at goal than Barca?

Guest Craig-NUFC
Been a very decent showing this from Rayo Vallecano. Had a right go at Barca while playing good football. Certainly deserved at least a goal. My favourite team to watch in Spain after Barca. Always seem to play with a gung-ho mentality.
Village Idiot
Aye, Rayo are immensely watchable. And they never change their style whoever they face, which results in the odd pasting from the big sides. But they are pretty comfortable this season, with an outside chance of Europe. Neil
Also seen that Real Sociedad are 4th. Knew they were doing fairly well but not that well. Hope they get into Europe too. Actually, on that topic, are Malaga banned from Europe for the next 2/3 years? If so, what happens if they finish in a European qualification spot? Goes to the team below? They have appealed to the CAS, but chances are it will be tossed out. It will go to the team below.
Guest
St Etienne back from 2-0 to 2-2 against PSG. Would love to see them nick a Champions League spot...proper fans and club.

Is Juan Ignacio Martínez likely to get a move 'up' soon do you reckon? Depends on what is considered a move "up". Most of the usual outsiders (Atlético/Sevilla/Valencia/Málaga) just switched managers or have pretty safe ones.

Just a higher profile club really, one where he'd not have to penny pinch to such a degree but that isn't such an exhaustive list in Spain these days. Levante indeed don't have a pot to piss on, but most clubs outside the usual suspects are in the same position nowadays. Think he'd be a great fit for Betis, but Mel is doing wonderfully well there.
