Jerome Rothen

Remember when he took the piss out of us in the Intertoto with Troyes?

Went on to play Champions League final with Monaco.

Plays for Bastia now and is a defensive midfielder these days I believe. He's the definition of random.

Turkish left-back who had a trial here when Roeder was manager, loads of people said it was just because Emre wanted a mate. I remember reading that he was dead unfit and lazy and was packed off before his trial was meant to end. Plays for Galatasaray now, on loan from Toulouse.

Belgian striker who signed for Villa in 2000, played a handful of games before his leg fell off. Ouch

Random managers from the 90's in the same mould: Paul Le Guen.

Won everything with Lyon. Went to f***ing Glasgow Rangers. Disappeared. Now in charge of Oman.

Dr Jozef Venglos, of Aston Villa and Celtic fame

Jacques Santini, managed Spurs but if you blinked you would have probably missed it
