Guest palnese
Another massive half from Pardew coming up. I do wonder what he'll instruct them to do.

basjen
So, are we turning games now? What is this..?
Guest
That's as good as I've seen under Pardew, and that includes the Stoke game last season. Absolutely dominated.
Guest ItalianMagpie
Ahead before half time. A thoroughly painful second half is in order.
Beren
Great half. I'm so fond of Gouffran, man. Quiet opening spell, but then just electric tbh. Tiote was a fucking beast and all. Colo was class. Cisse was infuriating and then did something incredible. Good half. Credit to Southampton for their energetic start. After reading some rather impudent Saints' fans getting ahead of themselves "expecting" a result from SJP, if it stays like this or improves, this has the feeling of justice about it. With our respective squads, even after a European trip we ought to be favourites. We're a cut above, and but for Pardew, the table would reflect that too. They're a decent outfit, they graft impressively but on a footballing level they're not on ours. Anyway, hope we can see this out. Very wary of them coming out at a blistering pace in the beginning of the second half. Hope we have the sense to frustrate them immediately and take the sting out of their half-time team talk. timeEd32
who was calling cisse a clown? He still is a clown a lot of the time. Luckily for us he's a magical clown.
sugoinufc
elliot assist Nobody puts cisse on the wing! awesome strike
Guest frazernufc
Tiotes impressing me the most out of everyone, Santon and Deubchy looking good aswell. Not saying the others arent but them 3 are impressing me.
Quailman
With the exception of the first 5 minutes that was a really good half, we just need to continue going at them in the second half instead of sitting back and defending the lead
Ishmael
I don't see what anyone has got to learn, Dave? Everyone was rightly pissed off with the start, was encouraged by our response and is now delighted by our overall performance - notwithstanding the first 3 minutes. aussiemag
Thoroughly impressed by all the frenchies to be honest, every one of them class. Tiote is back to his old dominating ways as well. If we get a third the points are ours.
TaylorJ_01
We've come from behind again. I like this. It feels warm.
Cronky
Southampton look a useful side and we've done very well to come back.
Beren
Our start wasn't particularly bad tbf. Give the opposition some credit.
Neil
Thoroughly enjoyable half for the (sort of) neutral. Fully deserved lead, thought you responded excellently all in all. Gradually got on top more and more as the half went on and the goals felt inevitable. Just hope you don't sit back. I reckon Southampton might get a rocket at HT as they've gone off the boil from what was a very impressive start; but a big part of that is because you're pressing them consistently. Keep it up and you'll win. Don't, and you won't.
Begbie
I hope we go out and tries to get 3-1 instead of defending the 2-1 lead.

timeEd32
Tiotes impressing me the most out of everyone, Santon and Deubchy looking good aswell. Not saying the others arent but them 3 are impressing me. Santon has been just ok for me. Agree on the other two - Debuchy has been a handful down the right. Ishmael
Our start wasn't particularly bad tbf. Give the opposition some credit. They pressed and we retreated to the depths of our own half. Scandalous, regardless of whether or not they scored.

Klaus
Tiote playing class today, looking so much more confident on the ball than other recent performances.
Zach
Tiote, Gouffran, Sissokho and Debuchy have been absolutely fantastic. That was a really good half all in all, we responded really well after the goal.
Stu
Specialist dogshite from cisse. Managing to get more embarassing every game. I especially like this. You're like the fat Southampton fan who told me Cisse is "a fucking waste of money" right before Jay Rodriguez swung wildly for a volley. £9million well spent, aye? sempuki
Very impressed with Tiote so far - must be his best display of the season by some distance.
