pedro111
As far as I could see, Laudrup had ran out of ideas and just sat there stony faced. His team were going to scrape a draw then they fluke a winner. Pardew if anything won the battle of the managers.

toon25
Stoke a f*cking crap at the moment man they can't even beat West Ham at home ffs, no need to be concerned with them. We played well today and deserved to win matter about f*cking lose, just unlucky no need to tap that knee too hard. Also stop talking about f*cking Laudrup, Pardew is our manager not Laudrup not like Laudrup put a tactical masterpiece on he just got lucky. F*ck off, sick of this shit not supporting the manager and wishing for the other teams manager after every single game we lose. Anyway performances are improving its just a bump in the road, we will beat Stoke next week so onwards and upwards! Here, here. Do we reckon HBA will be rested next week with it being Stoke? ujpest doza
Future's bright, present is balls. Felt we were good for a point. I thought we were good for 3 to be honest. We should have been comfortably out of sight by the time they scored.
LesPaul
A master class by Laudrup, Pardew throw that little book away its useless against a man like michael..... And every other manager. Feck off! Swansea did f*** all for 40 minutes of the second half! nowt to do with laudrup - we outplayed them, missed easy chances and they got a scruffy goal at the end Don't let common sense cloud your judgement. Laudrup is 347563457324956 times the manager Pardew will ever be and he should be managing us!!!!11!!!!!!! Not on the evidence of that game. Laudrup got lucky, and you're a tool. I'm pretty sure you just missed the point of my post...
Guest GeordieAce
We were unlucky no doubt about it. I honestly think had HBA been playing we would have won that. I thought we played well overall, just lacked that composure in both boxes. Gutted
pedro111
We didn't deserve it as they scored and we didn't. We missed 2-3 very good chances and conceded a comical goal. Bollocks. We deserved at least a point. We deserved 3 in truth considering we were the away side. Read the fucking post Woah, calm down man ffs. I read your post. Just disagreeing with you. Considering we were the away team and on the balance of play we did not deserve to lose.

His team were going to scrape a draw then they fluke a winner. Pardew if anything won the battle of the managers. And yet his sub & the subsequent moving of Michu back in to midfield changed ended up changing the game in their favour and allowed them to see out the win. Not that I think Pardew did owt wrong today, maybe could have made changes but we were in the ascendency so that would be reactionary/hindsight loaded guff from me. SLK
If only we had HBA for a little 10-15 min cameo we would have won that. Actually f*** that if Pardew had just gone for it with 10-15 to go we would have won that. So bored of his negative mentality. I don't see how Pardew was negative. Their goal came against the run of play. We battered them the 2nd half and we were unlucky not to score few goals ourselves. They just got lucky against our not so stable defence. Guest bimpy474
As much as i disliked Pardew's football before the French players came, apart from not making the Subs earlier, especially Jonas which continues to baffle me as he offers absolutely nothing. Can't complain about him today.

Hanshithispantz
Those ratings for the midfield are a joke like Yorkie, they dominated the majority of the game ffs 6, 7, 6, 6, 6? Don't think it's that bad a reflection. They played well at times but Cabaye's corners and Gouffran's miss played a crucial role in us not winning the game. Still though Cabaye and Tiote hardly gave their midfield a sniff 2nd half (first was pretty even all round), Pardew is to blame for Cabaye's shitty corners not amounting to anything, he shouldn't be taking them full stop. We played with a decent intensity in the second half and the midfield as a collective did pretty well. On an individual level, certain incidents let us down. I see your point re: picking the corner taker; but for a guy with such brilliant technique - kicking the ball out of play before it's reached the box is amateurish and pretty unforgivable. Aye that probably deserved a points deduction along looking back. Awful

Krul Debuchy Taylor Colo Santon Anita Cabaye Marveaux Ben Arfa Cisse New FWD But under Pardew we would probably look clueless and get run over, we can buy as many quality players as we like but as long as Pardew is here we won't go anywhere. Cronky
Once again I thought Cisse was bloody hopeless Like most games, he was isolated for large parts. Was decent in possesion. I don't agree at all. He looked clumsy in possession and couldn't link with his team-mates.
