If we aren't in for him at this price we're probably not looking to get anyone in at all. Ridiculous.

But by that logic Swansea are the only club aiming to sign anyone since they're the only club in for Ince.

Another one bites the dust.

Were we even interested?

Not at the £8m price tag they were asking for last summer. It will be interesting to see what Swansea have agreed to pay.

He's out of contract in the summer so you'd imagine it's decreased since then. Their paper seems to suggest a fee of circa £4m, mad kernts will go bankrupt if they don't watch it especially with that Europa League draining resources.

£4m? We might have been interested at about half that. Seems like another Victor Moses situation. Promising player available at a knockdown price, but still considered too high for us. That said, the likes of Everton and Liverpool haven't shown much interest either, so we aren't the only ones who seem to think it's not a great deal.

He's supposed to be meeting Martinez this week with a view to a summer move for a tribunal fee.

This is bloody ridiculous, they're going on about needing English players because of the rules. This lad is English, left sided which we need, can play up front, isn't going to cost a massive amount.

Most importantly he's a damn good player, our transfer policy is so rigid it's fucking stupid now. Sick of these cunts.

Sounds more like it. Swansea might be attempting to do what we did with the £8m Gomis bid last summer. Pay a bit more early in Jan while everyone else waits to pick him up on a free. It will be interesting to see if he signs for them or waits it out.

what has happened to this kid?

  • Was he ever really that good/have that much potential?
  • Did palace only just sign him on a 6 month deal
  • What punt did Hull take on him and how on earth has he only had 6 months then end up being loaned out

well we know he can't handle fliar players, but didn't think it was down to something just a simple/dumb as that. why the fuck does he sign 3 players like that if he wants them to graft their arse off. Ince has made a couple of really bad career moves mind

I really worry about young talent in this country that play with a bit of flair and expression. They just get beat down.

Happy for him that he managed to get out on loan to a team as good as Derby. Scored two goals in his debut for them over the weekend. One was a stunning free kick too.

In the meantime the likes of Quinn and Meyler were featuring for Hull ...

Maybe he's a big fish/small pond type, wouldn't read much in to Bruce not playing him like - he'd sooner have Meyler and Quinn as his widemen and complain of no chances than take a risk. Went to Derby didn't he? Probably a good move, do well there - get a permanent move in the summer.
