Could a new (competent) DOF be the end of Pards?

Don't think we will hire another, probably going to get an Ashley crony in a commercial role.

As for Pardew he is probably in a stronger position at the moment as having seen off Joe Kinnear, JK can be the source of blame if our second half of season form isn't as good.

 So who is in charge?

thats a damn good question

Charnley and Irving do the day to day running of the club, no change there. Kinnear supposedly handled "player business". I hear the cynics loud and clear on him having achieved his purpose, I'll run with the idea that he's gone because he was utter crap at the job(what a surprise) and Pardew has seen him off.

I feel underwhelmed. The damage has been done IMO. There's no joy in this. The club is washing the shitty sheets after a huge bout of bed-cacking, but the stains are still there.

It is not irrepairable.

Nothing £20m well spent pounds plus improved (or new) management can sort out.

I know, I'm just concerned about this since we all know Ashley is the problem. JFK was a fucking embarrassment, but a small part of a large problem. God knows what happens next. What ever reasons the club give id be inclined to disbelieve

They wouldnt do anything positive willingly. It will just be because he feels he has no choice . We know he has no good intentions. They have taken the enjoyment out of it. The buzz  when a goal is scored and hope that it might lead to good times.
