I'm assuming Keema Naan, but even so I hope I'm wrong and it's actually something far less tragic than that...

thenige
Plays CM, but has occasionally been turning out at right-back for the U21s. Nice to see we're coaching his main position out of him.
Guest
Only Newcastle would train a French youth captain midfielder with the intention of being Janmaat's back up at full back like.

Chris_R
Only Newcastle would train a French youth captain midfielder with the intention of being Janmaat's back up at full back like. Sadly he's probably got infinitely more chance of replacing Janmaat than Colback.
loki679
If there's one thing Pardle taught us it's you can never have enough full backs. What if a striker gets injured and you've got no full back on the bench ( )? What you gonna do then, eh? eh?

sbnufc
Wonder if this kid will get a look in this season? France U19 captain? They just went out of the Euro's in the semis
arnonel
If we are really serious about youth policy we really do need to let these guys get games and learn. Warts and all. No use keeping them for 2 cup games a season
captainhaircut
I wonder if Kemen is the reason why they seem to be happy to offload Abeid. Plan seems to be Colback/anita as a deep lying midfielder with Winegum box to box and De Jong off the striker. Kemen could be back up to Winegum with Ayoze back up to De Jong in that system.
