ElDiablo
Got a free ticket in the Norwich end today. Not seen that much of them otherwise, but purely on the basis of their performance today, they'll do very well to stay up. Morealess every time the ball was put into their box, carnage ensued. They also have absolutely no goal threat, Altidore cannot wait to get rid of the ball on the occasions he actually manages to bring it down properly, and off the ball he swans round like he's Berbatov. To be fair he's probably annoyed at the poor service he receives, which takes the form of punted balls up to him. Can't believe we lost twice to the team I saw today. Guest
I still think they'll stay up. They'll probably have 32 points maximum (7 points from West Ham, Everton & Cardiff at home) going in to their last 2 matches. That means they'll probably have to beat West Brom at home in that last midweek game just to take it to the last day v Swansea. Tall order.
cp40
poyet and larson talking about no desire- this is absolutely essential at this stage if you are to get out- if it stays this way- they will finish bottom.

Mattoon
poyet and larson talking about no desire- this is absolutely essential at this stage if you are to get out- if it stays this way- they will finish bottom. Exactly how it ended for us, the players we had were more than capable of putting a run of games together, in the end none of them gave a shit. Already on holiday with their agents finding them their meal tickets out of there.

They're team is full of loanees and players with a few months left on their contract. It does 't look like many of them are planning on staying. Leazes1986
I reckon they'll get beat of West Ham in a disgusting scrappy match. Today has made me 95% sure they're going down in my mind.

bowlingcrofty
Liverpool V Sunderland 0 Sunderland V West Ham 1 Tottenham V Sunderland 0 Sunderland V Everton 1 Man City V Sunderland 0 Chelsea V Sunderland 0 Sunderland V Cardiff 3 Man Utd V Sunderland 0 Sunderland V West Brom 1 Sunderland V Swansea 3 9 more points I reckon. Guest neesy111
9 would be enough to keep them up imo.

Can see that being enough annoyingly. If they stay up it will be due to the ineptitude of the teams around them rather than any heroics.
Leazes1986
Really can't see 34 being enough. I don't think Sunderland will even get to that mind.

Guest neesy111
Quite a few teams down there are in bad form and not pulling away. http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/form-guide.html
Benwell Lad
Looks like Gus's decision to throw an easy route to European football in the Hull game was a good one. Resting all his superstars has turned out nicely.
Leazes1986
Just looked and I think Palace and West Brom will get to 35 points. The thing is, you can see Palace grinding out some results despite how shit they are. Sunderland just look fucked. They can't beat Palace at home, Norwich and these are massive games where they need to win. They won't get a point against any of the top half teams for me. The only team I would sway towards them winning is Cardiff at home.
