They're playing 5 defenders and two sitting midfielders, and they're still somehow one of the most open Prem teams I've ever seen.  So much space

 

Big Sam will be shitting himself, he must realise they don't have the pace to cope in an open game. Everton will definitely score more now that Sunderland will be forced to chase the game.

These tactics are actually appalling from Allardyce

 

 

Got a line of 5, with the line of 2 in front and Everton have time to do whatever the fuck they want. Defoe and Fletcher staying up and Johnson not getting back. Basically 4/5 v 2 in midfield

As if the derby result was any indication of either sides quality..  We aren't good, but this lot are horrendous.

 

I said it at the time, but unlike past seasons where they've played well against us and kickstarted their season the new manager hasn't improved them this time.  They were just as bad as ever against us and somehow fluked a result, but the performance was shocking and without the luck they'll lose 99 times out of 100 playing like that.
