Well this is going to be a delightful saga in the Newcastle-Sunderland soap opera. Mackems back-peddling and victim-blaming, Mags lobbing paedo jokes that won't even be remotely funny to anyone with half a brain (yet hilarious to the average retard amongst our fan base). Good times, good times.

Spot on.

Interesting to see RTG deleting any post relating to this citing legal consequences when they'll happily discuss how best to get the 3pm kick-offs every week.

I'd imagine they'll be extremely embarrassed now. They generalised every Newcastle supporter as a horse puncher because 1 knacker punched a horse. 1000's of them continue to chant Johnsons name at matches and boast about his crime so by their own admission every Sunderland fan is a paedophile.

In one but their club must have known and that makes it even worse that they actually still continued to play him.

Agreed - but the mackems will say as far as they knew, he was pleading not guilty. It's more to do with him being one of their best players and also given their position. Football Clubs and morality often rarely go together - we also know all about that.

Probabaly already been answered but what is the difference between "sexual activity with a child" and "sexual activity with a girl under 16" ? I realise they could be different counts of the same type of offence, like 12 seperate counts of burglary but it seems strange to word them differently.

It could depend on what age the person was when activity started and what age they were when it ended.......

Thing is, if Sunderland had stated from the outset that Johnson was innocent until proven guilty and that he would continue to play for them as normal until a verdict had been made, I doubt many would have taken objection to it. It's the fact that they suspended him first, then rescinded it as soon as Advocaat realised how bad their squad was that makes them look really bad in all of this imo.

You'd think his classy employers are due an announcement of some sort? Or will they wait for the final verdict despite him pleading guilty? "Innocent until sentenced marra"

They've handled the whole thing terribly. Wouldn't surprise me if they went and named the family enclosure after him now.
