Tiresias
It's almost as if Lukaku is a better striker than Jo the way this Everton team are performing What, brazilian international Jo?
Neil
Brilliant so far, but the worry is if Arsenal score. We need to get the final pass right.
triggs
Sagna is a big loss for Arsenal down the right. They are being forced to keep it really tight because Jenkinson isn't good enough to burst down the right and get a cross in
LFEE
Everton are class They are today... Very impressive though you still get that feeling Arsenal could score in the blink of an eye if they slip up...
The College Dropout
Is Walcott on the bench? Without possession they don't have the athleticism to really hurt Everton.
Tiresias
Commentators saying they didn't even think of Everton as a 'top team let alone top 4' seeing as they've consistently finished above 'top top team' liverpool of late
The College Dropout
The only time i've seen Everton play poorly is against Palace.

triggs
That's twice in a couple of minutes that all Giroud has had to do is dink it over the keeper and he's messed it up twice. Arsenal taking control now.
Tiresias
Well if they'd been paying attention to our shirts they know they could consolidate all their massive loans into one apocalyptic loan and suck in the whole economy

Yorkie
Three very similar chances for Arsenal in the last few minutes. HT coming at abad time for them.

Deuce
Howard has been brilliant today. I was worried after he shaved the neck beard. But he's had a strong half.
Neil
The lack of the killer pass aside, that was a great half from us. We're realistic, we know at full flow Arsenal are obviously better than us - they're one of the best in the world on form - but how can you limit them playing well? Don't let them have the ball. That, admittedly, leaves us open to the counter, but that's where the realism comes in, you have to accept they're going to create some sort of openings during the course of 90 minutes. I'd rather do it that way as you've always got a better chance of scoring with the ball than just sitting in and hoping they don't score. Regardless of the outcome of the 2nd half, I really like where we're going. If we can combine trying to control the passing against the better teams, with incisiveness vs poorer sides, then we could go very far this year. Klaus
I do think arsenal will turn it on in the second half, they had much less possession/passes etc, but they still looked the more likely of the two teams imo
Mole_Toonfan
Everton outplaying them for 40min...My god.. Yet not a single save from Chesney.... the wankfest over possession is starting to bore me. Game is about scoring goals and Arsenal did more to try to achieve that in 5 mins than Everton did in 40.
