John P
Miles Starforth says that Newcastle 'remain confident on Austin. They haven't bid yet.' Think we need to tell the club how transfers work.

Foluwashola
Kemen linked to Milan in L'Equpe. Says that his agents and Milan are negotiating. Hopefully we extend the contract though. He seems to be quite sought after. Went to a few u21 matches last season and he looked absolutely toilet. May have just been unfortunate in my selection of games like but he made Tiote look like a technical wizard. I hope we give him a new six year contract based on this post alone. http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/gddy.gif The banter Swede rides again.
number9shirt
God that Miles Starforth is f***ing clueless reckons we will sign a dozen players We don't have time to sign a dozen players, look how long it takes to sign one, Imagine how much time 12 would take. duo
I think Douglas article just says two ddefenders so could be a left back as well, you never know. this is assuming you believes he knows anything. kurt zouma - on loan
Guest
I don't normally like the idea of signing players to help develop them for other clubs, but Zouma on loan would be fantastic.
Guest
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-united-already-looking-another-9702750 Dear me. This is the thing though. A month ago, Thauvin might have thought "fuck that", when we were interested. Throw in the fact we've spent fairly decent money on two players of his standard with the promise of a couple more, and we might begin to look a decent option for him. Unbelievable
Unbelievable! due to write him off as hopeless in 3, 2, 1 ... Not at all. Love JP Boetius me

Mole_Toonfan
On Thauvin, the only thing that keeps me hopeful is that he wouldn't be the first ( or the tenth tbh ) footballer to go back on his word. We shouldn't keep pursuing him for too long though.
Ketsbaia
I don't normally like the idea of signing players to help develop them for other clubs, but Zouma on loan would be fantastic. And knowing Chelsea, we can just keep loaning him until they forget about him. Could have him for years!

KaKa
Zouma's a John Terry knee ligament away from being a Chelsea regular. Don't you just feel like that guy will be there forever. Wouldn't want to be stuck waiting behind him at all.
Nobody
Aye but they weren't developing bairns for another team. What about when Atletico did it and won the league? EDIT: Not that I don't agree with you, but there are exceptions when it can suit both parties.
Mole_Toonfan
It won't be long till he displaces Cahill, Terry is irrelevant to his future prospects.
midds
If it strengthens the NUFC team in the short-term then I'm for it. I'd rather not be in a the position of having to loan players because we're too tight to actually buy them but loaning, say, Zouma for a season would benefit everyone imo. Unbelievable
Unbelievable! due to write him off as hopeless in 3, 2, 1 ... Not at all. Love JP Boetius me Woo hoo! Oh man, well we have to sign him now! What's his game like? Well, he's certainly not a traditional winger, more of a wide midfield player who likes to dribble, cuts inside often and has an eye for goal. As has been said, he is a little lightweight but that makes him nimble, and he'a a bit raw, as in probably not quite ready for PL level. He is one in a long line of talented flair players at Feyenoord who somehow make a big impression bursting on the scene but then subsequently fail to press on the next season and end up moving for less than they're (potentially) worth; Wijnaldum being an other example. I don't think EUR 2m will get him, but closer to 3-4m probably would.

I noticed this on his season stats, 2013/14 he got 11 goals and 10 assists, but last season only 4 goals and 5 assists or something. Was there any reason why, injuries or something?
