Dokko
CR is hit and miss he could come in and be great for a bit then it goes wrong or it goes wrong from the start and they go down. He never has a spell where he's doing well at one club for a while, but I suppose Fulham are just looking short term right now
Guest firetotheworks
Is it? It's almost always the way that teams follow a riskier attacking choice with 'a safe pair of hands'. It's generally how Allardyce, Hodgson etc get jobs in the first place.
wormy
I think he'll have them safe unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong so it keeps a relegation spot tied but equally he's just so bloody loveable I want him to do well.
Guest
I’m pleased about this like. I think Allardyce would have sorted them out whereas Ranieri is 50/50.
jdckelly
That’s an offensively short-sighted decision. Their entire squad and playing philosophy (and trajectory) was based on Jokanovic. except they've looked completely incompetent defensively and now the attacks stopped working. Considering the investment made they've been very shite. Not sure on Ranieri, he's a good manager but not sure he's the ideal choice to come in mid-season to try and get something resembling organisation out of that defence

The College Dropout
Ranieri knows how to organise a defence like. He’ll be given money too.
toon25
A very good appointment imo. Suits Fulham to a tee
jdckelly
Ranieri knows how to organise a defence like. He’ll be given money too. money hasn't been the problem, hell arguably they bought too many players in at once and trying to integrate all of them into any kind of cohesive system has clearly failed miserably

Chapo
Thank god that pair are gone, pity it won’t matter a bit until Delaney and his cronies are forced out.
jdckelly
Thank god that pair are gone, pity it won’t matter a bit until Delaney and his cronies are forced out. fat chance of that happening he makes sure to keep the higher ups in irish football happy. Chapo
Yup, agreed. The only hope is that he fucks off to UEFA but I’m sure the next in line is every bit the conman that Delaney is. From a selfish point of view, I hope they stay away from Kenny.
GavMcEl
Would love to see big mick or Stephen kenny get it
triggs
Seems to be between Mick and Kenny going by the bookies. Love Mick but I’ve changed my mind, would love Kenny to get a shot at it though I’d be happy with either
jdckelly
I'd be happy with Kenny (even if just to get rid of him from Dundalk ) but can't see the FAI ever going for him, the only comparable appointment in the last 30 years was Kerr and the FAI couldn't wait to get rid of him and the League of Ireland is the "problem child" according to Delaney
