I sure hope so for our sake I don’t think so, it’s been that long anyway and given his standing in that city across Red and Blue, he’d get a pass, he donated to the justice for the 96 for example and local hospitals etc. That and I’m pretty sure he’s too professional to let bias get in the way of things, even if it upsets others. LFC fans were not happy he went to Chelsea given their battles when Rafa was their manager and given how Chelsea fans disliked him as he often chastised them as a fanbase etc. He’d go there if he thought it was the right job and the right time 100% and right now he’d be a great fit for them and more likely to get them into the top 6 and fighting for honours than an Ancelotti. The rivalry with Everton is not venomous in that way and given it's been eleven years since he left Liverpool, I don't think that would be an issue. It wasn't when he went to Chelsea either.
