KaKa Posted Monday at 17:06 Share Posted Monday at 17:06 Decent gig for Potter and good move by West Ham. Potter will have some good players to work with. Think that will go well. Looks a really good fit.

My recollection is that Wolves fans were sad and angry when he decided it was pointless him staying there. Did well there and Sevilla... seemed a clear upgrade on Moyes. Hasty decision or just obviously a bad fit? Always feel for football managers to be a success the fit has to be right regardless of reputations. Never looked a good fit. That’s why we should never forget how lucky we are we landed Howe.

If the people who watch a team every week hate a manager despite their league position, it's usually for a good reason. Remember, Pardew got us 5th. Nine Posted Monday at 17:39 Share Posted Monday at 17:39 (edited) Potter will need time to build his side and flip a complete 180 on the Moyes/Lopetegui style. It likely won’t be a seamless transition, although a few of their players are already well matched for his system. If their fans remain patient they will have one of the best managers they could realistically attract, I think he’ll do very well there with time. Newintoon Posted Monday at 17:39 Share Posted Monday at 17:39 Did they all hate him, I think I remember the whole stadium staying behind to sing his name and wish him well when he left at the end of the season, it obviously went a bit stale in the last season and he left at the right time but to say he didn’t do a great job overall would be ludicrous

They'll Probably be twisting on in a years time about needing to score more goals and needing to go route one. 😂

The Fountain Posted Monday at 22:03 Share Posted Monday at 22:03 Big risk if Everton bin Dyche. His trams are shit to watch but he'll get enough 1-0 wins and goalless draws to keep them up.

54
Where do we reckon Paulo Fonseca ends up? Will likely be a club in the continent, but it feels like he'd be a good fit for a team like West Ham.
jackyboy
Surprised it's taken so long to get back in the mix. I've always really rated him and taking the Chelsea job was a big mistake
