AP is not the major problem, the owners are the first thing we should fix.

Until the owner goes, nothing major will change but there is just a hope that a better manager might make things a bit more tolerable in the meantime....

He's doing a great job for Ashley. Once again, the nation's leading football journalists were lining up to praise the great job he's doing on the Sky Sports Sunday Supplement.

Praise a manager who has won one in seven and lost the last two 3-0

imho his tendency to be ahead of the game with his excuses really, really works on a lot of people...he's talking about how hard he's got it at every opportunity and when journalists come to talk about us that's what's in their minds, same as with a lot of fans

We haven't scored a goal in 9 games this season (36% of the total games) and can only see this percentage getting higher. We are going to need to buy some good players in the Summer but we all know we will only do just enough to get by. Doesn't help when you have someone like Pardew in charge who is more interested in keeping things tight and not attacking teams.

From the outside if you take an overview it does look like Pardew has done well this season

It probably does when you only look at league position and listen to the shit he comes out with.

Done well is a stretch.

We are where we should be at present average league position and poor cup performances makes this a 5/10 season

Thats why he is such a fraud. Quite a master of the skill.

You just need to see the reactions in the Sacking thread to when Clarke & Laudrup were sacked for that. From the outside looking in, it looks like they're doing a good job, but when you analysed their last 12 months performances and how close to a relegation battle they were, you can see why they were sacked. Other clubs will look at Pardew and us and think he's doing well, but they don't see us week-in, week-out.

The gist of it was we are still 8th despite losing our best players because of our selling policy and that is because of Pardew's skillful management. So yes, they think pretty much the same as the majority of our fans I would say. Which works out perfectly for Ashley, because as long as he's got an acceptable buffer figure like pards then there's no reason for him to do anything other than carry on flogging.

I would take Moyes when he is given the sack at the end of the season.

8th in the league but we have a coach probably ranked in the bottom 5.

Why? Man United are absolute bilge to watch. If people think Pardew's style of football is boring they'd have a shitfit watching a Moyes team passing the ball in front of the opposition for 90 mins.

To sack him would indicate Ashley has ambition and it has been proven on countless occassions that Ashley has none when it comes to this club.

Just vented this on that facebook group. Don't know why I bother its full of tossers.

Stability people still going along with that reason for all the clubs shite? No decision made by Mike Ashley has been for stability. And for all those blowing smoke up Pardew's arse about being eighth in February; why? Beaten twice at home by our bitter rivals 3 nil. Complete non-chalance in the cups when a strongest squads have been available. 'Thank god we're not in the Europa league' 'This is for Mike' and conservative long ball shit in every 2nd half (see west ham; where we played the best football in the 1st half I have seen at this club in our lifetime). Those advocating Pardew often cite stability and pragmatism as an argument. Let's see how much we progress under him as he's just an average patsy to the regime. Well done MA in creating a complete Red Herring in Joe Kinnear and helping absolve a hit-miss manager of maintaining the mid-table glass ceiling that Mike Ambitionless wants us to achieve every year. Any decent football chairman would have had him out on his arse but of course we don't have that. Don't give any of them your hard earned.
