Kimbo Posted March 7, 2014 Share Posted March 7, 2014 Well football is a strange sport, on the one hand any sort of physical contact or aggression is treated like this, and on the other it's the only sport where players are allowed to eff and jeff at the officials every 5 seconds, i've even seen players touching them, pulling their arms etc. It is a silly game. A couple of online papers I have read have photos in order of how the incident unfolded, for those that didn`t see it. I wonder if it was the other way round, Meyler rubs Pardew`s sweaty brow for him and Pardew pushes him back a few steps, would there be the same outrage. He didn't push him though, he walked up and headbutted him/looked at him funny/whatever you going to play it down as next. EDIT: Outrage aimed at Pardew anyway, I think Meyler would get slated.
