Its not a good point.  Spurs have spunked millions and we have spent nothing.  The media see us as hitting our target. Spurs a failing big time. This was going to be their big push.

Basically this. The media have moved quickly to considering us a mid table team.

About Bardsley, this little exchange:

@MsiDouglas: Pardew likes him, he wants to stay up here... Think he's v.close to signing a new deal with SAFC TBH

:anguish:

Pardew somehow keeps on making me despise him even more than before. Some feat, like.

How many players do we get rid of before Ashley realises in all the collective shitness, the common denominator is the fucking idiot manager he employs.

He's certainly got potential and I've seen very promising and also awful performances from him. I am reasonably but not overly confident he would be good if bedded into the defense properly. This will not happen, and instead we will sell him, panic buy Tompkins or something as a Colo replacement and go down.

I have serious reservations about our whole squad's suitability for the premier leauge

We're 9th with one the of the worst managers in the World in charge.

Pardew really is going to be looking to sign cloggers and players with zilch skill, but can run around like fucks on speed.

Yeah to be fair manager is the real anvil holding us back but it's a pretty mediocre squad otherwise with some exceptions, but without Cabaye it has nothing to hold it together and make it more than the sum of it's parts. If we started season as is we'd be lucky to be above Sunderland.

Yanga-Mbiwa had nailed down a starting position until Pardew dropped him for no reason.

Exactly. M'Biwa and Williamson were doing perfectly well for a while until M'Biwa got dropped for precisely fuck all. There was no reason to change things other than to give preferred players a starting place they scarcely deserved.

It stunk at the time and it still stinks now. Proper rank bad management.

Yanga-Mbiwa "future in doubt"? He was one of the most promising CB's in Europe when we signed him only for Pardew to be the f*cking moron he is and drop him for no reason, then proceeding to play him at f*cking RB.

Its Pardew whose future who should be in doubt.

Depends if you wanted Coloccini back in the team or not. Their incompatibility is a reason.

Wasn't he effectively dropped for Taylor at one point?
