Haven't seen the other posts but I'm sure it's still early days, in the same way we still struggled for a period when Howe first came in. Difference is our expectations are vastly different to Man United, especially also the media's expectations. So you know it's gonna be 10x harder for the new fella to ride out this difficult season before his ideas and own players get embedded. However with my Newcastle hat on, I hope to fuck it gets worse for you, including fingers crossed when we go to old trafford soon and also for the foreseeable. sorry. When we were picking up wins in Ten Hag's latter seasons we weren't deserving of them. The performances were rarely there. We're performing a lot better now, even if the results aren't there yet. You have to think we'll start taking these chances. Maybe not of course, but usually if you're dominating games and creating chance after chance, it comes good eventually. Feel like Newcastle fans should be able to relate to that.

Felt like if you scored, you’d shoot yourselves in the foot 2 mins later and Bournemouth would just score again. Zirkzee is a non-entity, as is Ugarte. Just constant unforced errors. Onana takes half an hour to make a pass. Your players are chasing shadows most of the time, so far off the pace. Unfortunately you’ll probably raise your game v us. Bournemouth had to rely on us missing the best chances of the game. It's usually the other way around for us. That's what's encouraging and why there's no panic. Nobody expected an overnight fix anyway. Ugarte has been unreal as well. Not sure you're appreciating that side of the game or if you just don't watch us, which is fair. Only thing I agree with you on is Zirkzee. I don't think he has what it takes at all, certainly not as a #9. Hojlund all day every day in that role for me. Passing side to side in the final third, then back to Onana with no ability to break a side down mixed with catastrophic defensive lapses and a very hot and cold goalkeeper. The only bright lights being Fernandes and Amad. You’ll say these things take time but these players had time under EtH. Years of it. They weren’t capable of playing any other way, or they refused to. I just don’t see it changing. Added to this Amorim isn’t exactly the most inspiring of managers on the touchline. Staring at the ground and what have you. Edited 9 hours ago by Joelinton7

No offence. You were questioning Howe a couple of weeks ago off the back of a couple of bad results. If you've been watching us and haven't seen any good performances under Amorim, you're either blinded by hate or just don't know ball bro. Thankfully for you I'm going to stick you in the first category.

There’s just something about your club, those players… I just can’t see much changing from the last manager. I think a lot of your players fear playing at OT. They’ll pull their fingers out once every 6 games or something just to keep their heads above water and then revert to type, this has been happening for years now. There’s no consistency, no identity. With Howe and us we have a very clear identity and it comes from EH. There’s a lot of disconnect at your club and it shows. Probably starts with the Glazers and Ratcliffe from the outside at least has been an absolute clown show. I mean the less said about the Ashworth situation the better

Boxes himself into positions where he can’t receive the ball and never ever shows for it. Compare him to someone like Lavia for instance who always wants the ball, Skelly for Arsenal yesterday hopping backwards with his eyes on the ball and play at all times. I watched him closely during Copa America, he’s a nothing player. I think he said it himself, he’s there to win the ball back. Offers nothing in possession so the three center back just pass it around to themselves and Ugarte runs further and further away from the ball. Don’t think he’s Kante, he ain’t Kante. I watched him in the Forest game. Infuriating. He did get some what of an assist but only when the ball was played into him first time. He didn’t know what was going. He avoids all responsibility. Gibbs White on the other hand was always showing, screaming for the ball, passing and moving. My brother supports Man U so we watched the game together and I could not believe how this guy would directly place himself in between four opposing players and not even try to get out. Really weird. Aye you've just described the opposite of Ugarte under Amorim. he's been everywhere for us. Get Bobby to get the stats for you. He loves stats. No idea what he was like in the Copa America and I don't care.

How about this for a stat, in the 100 or so league games he’s played in Europe, he’s never scored a goal. That’s Vurnon Anita Gavin McCann levels of nothingness. That’s who’ve you’ve signed.
