Even if you win the Europa League, it's hardly a ringing endorsement for the club that you've been absolutely woeful in the league and every other competiton you've been in. There's no reason for any optimism next season at all, you're shite. Even if you do qualify for the Champions League all that means is a few extra games for uou to embarrass yourself in next season against real top teams.
