No one can simply look ‘at the published expenditure’ and then accurately workout what each individual player is earning. And if during negotiations players requests are leaked to the press at every juncture the club is gonna become a pariah. On 31/05/2025 at 16:45, Froggy said: It's all from strong sources, and yes we are one of the leakiest clubs in the world. Obviously you can't work out each individual wage from the entire wage expenditure, but it's fairly easy to piece together when there are numerous reports from tier 1 sources about what each players wage is. It’s the same at most clubs - their fans keep a very close eye on all news as well as having personal contacts. If you do it long enough you get a feel for what’s most likely true, what’s most likely bullshit and what’s most likely a party line being fed to somebody. I don’t generally have the foggiest idea what’s going on at any club bar Spurs, but I’d back myself to make a fair call on the likely truthiness of most “news” about us. Displayname Posted Tuesday at 09:55 Share Posted Tuesday at 09:55 Regarding the Glazer vs Ashley discussion in the other thread. No need to compare them, both of them are/were leeches draining the soul out of the club. Thats all that matters. I would pity Man Utd fans if most of them weren't such entitled bastards. None of us thought we were as big as Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal. But about the same level as Villa, Everton and Spurs. And looking at both the Premier League and the total English football history that seems about right I think.

OverThere Posted Tuesday at 11:11 Share Posted Tuesday at 11:11 Hope this bunch have all the bad luck in the world. A sweaty nasty ball sack of a club with the ultimate dick head support. May they languish in the bottom half forever.

We spent the Ashley era saying we should be 5th-7th sort of area. First 3 full seasons without Ashley that’s exactly what we did.
Superior Acuña Posted Tuesday at 11:36 Share Posted Tuesday at 11:36 (edited) The idea we're deluded has always been the laziest nonsense, always known anyone who says it is not to be taken seriously on football. (know Froggy just on wind up). Athletic just published a 'end of season satisfaction' survey. We've come 5th and won the Carabao Cup and are joint with Forest for most satisfied - more satisfied than champions Liverpool. 96% very satisfied and 3.5% satisfied. (Though I'm very curious about the 0.3% of 'very unsatisfied' probably the prick in front of me last game). OverThere Posted Tuesday at 17:33 Share Posted Tuesday at 17:33 I am more than satisfied. Winning 🏆 was something I thought would never happen in my lifetime. How is that deluded?
et tu brute Posted Tuesday at 19:29 Share Posted Tuesday at 19:29 Sancho returning, Rashford returning, Fernandez and Casimiro staying put. Massive wages with three of the four looking to be quite happy to run their contracts down it seems. They're going to have to get their skates on and sell a few, if Cunha and Mbuemo are incoming. Mbuemo wanting £250.000 per week also
Keggy_Keagal Posted Tuesday at 19:43 Share Posted Tuesday at 19:43 Name a single senior Manchester United player that has improved under Amorim? Look at what Eddie did here with Joelinton in a similar time frame. Or Schar or even Shelvey lifted his game.

Checko Posted Tuesday at 21:00 Share Posted Tuesday at 21:00 So if Bruno F stays, what's the set up of that front three? Cunha Bruno F Mbeumo Something like that? Or does Bruno F drop into one of the CM roles with Cunha on the left and a specialist CF?
