When you lot first got Ragnick in, I remember reading about him and the experience he had, his philosophy and everything. I thought it was such a good move. At the end of the season when he gave that report and none of it was taken on board, and instead they ushered him out, I was so shocked man. I think that's when I really felt you guys were headed for trouble. Why the board at the time would just ignore Ragnick and throw ETH in there I have no idea. ETH was a victim of this too. Shockingly enough, I even recall the same issue under Ragnick. That was such a key moment for you lot. That guy's reputation and contacts are incredible in football. Your team by now would have looked so different, with the signings that would have come in. You're blinded by ego taking the job Years ago, Mourinho took Manchester to second and then said something like it being his best achievement. He was working with the vanilla version of the current set-up. Billions later and they are even worse. I just don't think you rebuild with a very rigid 3 at the back, manager. Cos it will be several more hundred million of CBs and wing backs who the next guy won't have a use for. Man Utd don’t want to buy the youngster who needs a couple of years to develop into great players. They want the big names. They have a squad of big names, but they are too old, their best years are behind them, some of them have left clubs like Real Madrid, others know that they are not going to Real Madrid. They have already made it by arriving at Man Utd, or they have peaked and are on the downward spiral. But Nan Utd need the big name player, because shirt sales, and 1,000 sponsors rely on it. Until they are prepared to make the sacrifice and built a team like Brighton have, and how us and Aston Villa are trying to do, then they are going nowhere. Looks like they’re trying to do it with Casemiro and Rashford. Maybe that’s a big part of it. Too much meddling from above. I think Rashford is useless and has a stinking attitude and I think the game has passed Casemiro by. We need people on those sort of wages to be gone unless they're performing to a high level. I think that's why Howe was then ultimately able to turn things around, once his training finally bedded in, and overcame the nonsense Bruce was doing. I like Amorim, but man, that set of players seem to lack commitment and the right mindset to turn things around, and the pressure is building.
