I’m sure he’s a canny lad but no idea why froggy is indulged by either those who engage with his boring patter or- worse- those who act as those his boring patter is some masterful act of bait laying. I don’t understand why he doesn’t maintain the friendships he has here though other means and when he wants to talk about football does it on redcafe or with his real life mates who support Man Utd

but we're a way off Everton yet.

It's only 2 goals worse goal difference, you might be able to make that up.

Bold of you to assume I have real life mates.

Personally I really like having fans from other clubs on here as it often helps keep things in perspective and stops us drowning in self indulgent crap at times.

Fair play to the likes of Froggy who takes a huge amount of shit like a champ (and dishes some out) and pretty much turns up regardless of the results for his team.

Froggy is a manure twat, but he's our manure twat. Think of him as that 'uncle' who has nowt else in his life but to come join the family on Christmas day. You're not sure of the relation, he stinks, gets a bit gobby, but he's there and wouldn't be the same without him. Well that's Froggy.

Just don't trust him around the kids.

He's alright Froggy once you get to know him ...;)

If Man Utd were to finish 17th, would it be fair to consider this, pound-for-pound, the worst league campaign in a major European league in living memory?

The vast majority of baiting and wind up posts from Froggy are in response to people tagging him trying to wind him up when they lose or similar.

People can’t have it both ways by winding him up and getting nothing back. It just so happens that he’s much better at winding people up than many on here.

Give Amorim 8 more years!

Before Pereira came in, Wolves have played the formation they're playing now 252 times since 2017. Their team was built for it.

Man United played it 17 times in the same period before Amorim, and 0 times since 2021.

Patience Davy son.

Schalke's collapse from CL semi-finalists to relegation will take some beating

There was like 10 years between these two though. Was at the Schalke match. Anderson's brace burned into my memory.

Yeah, but I suppose they were similar to Leicester in some ways. Performed way above what you would expect, then gradually over the next 2-3 seasons, fell away to end up getting relegated.

They are a ‘bigger’ club than Leicester by pretty much most standard metrics like, so going down probably more of an underachievement.

Still don’t think it ranks with a club of Man Utd’s size and resources finishing 17th (if that were to happen).

Imagine Barca, Madrid, AC Milan, PSG etc finishing one place above the relegation zone.

West Ham in 2003.  Team contained the likes of David James, Sir Les, Defoe, Di Canio, Joe Cole, Kanoute, Glen Johnson, Carrick, Bowyer.

It’s Juve getting relegated in terms of prestige etc even though they didn’t actually have a bad league season

Although AC Milan have had a couple of lower half league finishes particularly the Kluivert season and then in the 2010s.

Deportivo and Valencia are not as decorated as Man U but they’ve had plenty of bad seasons.

I mean, the Internet is full of cunts, we established that a long time ago. I don’t see why we have the need to drag the whole place down in response. Just let it go. Everyone is pushing 40.
