Neil Posted February 22, 2014 Share Posted February 22, 2014 Some of our passes in the 2nd half were fucking criminal. Barkley in particular had an absolute nightmare. Can call it unlucky, undeserved all you want but ultimately they put more pressure on us, created more chances, and all the nice passing and the great work rate in the world won't match up to teams with actual quality. Which is annoying, as we do have quality, yet seemed afraid to do anything with it in the 2nd half. It wasn't a terrible performance, far from it. Must've told them to bide their time and gradually go for it more and more as the 2nd half went on. They were relentless in the last 10-15 mins and that comes from the manager.
