Jtm_92
what happened to him, he was the next big thing wasn't he? Injuries. Being caught in the maelstrom of chaos and despair that is Valencia nowadays hasn't helped. Valencia still in massive debt, I think 350 million plus ?, no chance of building a new stadium or rebuilding the squad.

They are doing a pretty big fire sale this window, Guardado's off to Leverkusen too. Takeover talks collapsed and there's also a big chance that the EU will slap them with a big fine for all the help the regional government has given them to keep them afloat. With little hope of qualifying for Europe this season, it's pretty damn ugly down there right now.

Unlucky Luque
Canales to Real Sociedad for a mere 3,5 million. If he can get his career back on track he'll be a very good buy. If Griezmann stays they will have a very good side

James Horncastle @JamesHorncastle 15m Juventus announce Osvaldo signing on loan until end of the season. Option to sign him for €19m payable over 3 yrs expires on May 31, 2014 thats around what they paid I think. Still disastrous signing all in all. You can only sell what somebody wants to buy. Probably hoping he impresses enough for someone to give them some money back. Bit like LDJ and us. brummie
Yesterday: Lambert "We're working on about 15 things at the moment, in the hope some of them come off" Today: Fucks off to Liverpool with whole squad and medical staff, not signing anyone. Disappointed is putting it mildly. I thought Hoolahan would have been a great signing, but it was quite clear that with the bad blood with Norwich (them suing Lambert, us and them arguing over the Jed Steer price and going to a tribunal) there was a good chance they'd tell us to fuck off at the last moment. Which is what happened when they rejected our last bid last night. So basically, Hoolahan, from a club who hate Lambert so much they won't even take his phone calls, is Plans A, B, C and D to fill a position we have been desperately keen to fill for 1.5 seasons.
