Hatem Ben Arfa (now retired?)

Recommended Posts

I find it hard to believe that no higher profile club would want to take a gamble on him on a free.

From an outsider's perspective he's had 4 months of consistently good football in over 5 years.

There's probably some truth in that. His stock must have fallen further than I imagined.

Stock is determined by the same gaggle of senseless cunts that think fucking Pardew is a good manager.

If he leaves by mutual termination, he will probably sign a long term deal there. You would have thought bigger clubs would have been in for him on a free this summer.

His value really isn't that high right now. Needs to get regular playing time, which Nice should offer.

He is not making fuss in media about what happen to him, still can't understand why contract terminated? Contract terminated usually on very serious case which damage can't be repaired.

Or just saves us 6 months wages and lets Nice pick him up for free.

Btw. the reason he was picked by brucey for manu vs hull as starter, because he playing really well in previous game. If he was consistently lazy or less work rate in training or previous game for sure brucey won't picked him as starter. Brucey just finding excuses for his own team tactic failure. Ben Arfa did mistake against Valencia, then Brucey snapped, then that's the end.

Can't believe we turned down tens of millions to instead mutually terminate his contract, along with him turning down the top brass in Europe to go semi retire in nice.

Like I said, worthless. We may have got some kind of return in the summer just gone, but no chance anyone would pay for him in this shit state.

You can blame Pardew as much as you like but I'd imagine Colo had more influence on whether he played for us again.

Look in a different set of circumstances it could have been different, I wish it was but in the end he left here worth nothing to anyone. Now that's backed up by the fact no one decent would go anywhere him and certainly not pay us money for him.

He's massively damaged goods, he's a crushed up Ferrari at the bottom of the sea.

Hatem Ben Arfa’s colourful spell in England is over as he has agreed “in principle” to return to France to play for Nice as long as Newcastle United do not demand a transfer fee for a player who only has six months left on his contract.
