I fucking love him. In fact, it seems I love him even more with time, as when I see his clips looking older and less comparatively high-res, there's a certain nostalgia thrown into the equation and a feeling that he was the embodiment of everything I love about football and Newcastle United. The way things are going, I'm not sure we'll ever see the likes of him grace the league again. Cherki may be the closest, but he can't hold a candle to Hatem. Untouchable. I keep saying Ben Arfa, saw both of his wondergoals from the gallowgate, as well as his first ever wonder touch where he controls a terrible ball dead and passes it effortlessly. After getting annoyed with other NUFC fans for saying the same thing, he's finally shared some of the highlights with his (also) non NUFC fans, and they've also had to begrudgingly admit there was something a bit special about him. I'd say otherworldly instead, but will grind them down. Whenever you do that complete compilation Alberto I'd request an REO Speed wagon soundtrack so they can't fight that feeling any more either.
