Hatem Ben Arfa (now retired?)

Recommended Posts

hbarecall is a champ, can't wait for an absolute dicking on saturday, Pardew out and Benny in! Could give a shit who comes in to manage, because no matter how shit they are I'll at least be able to cheer for my team again for a year or so until we have to hate him too.

HBA on the bench for them will just add more spice to the protest  Brilliant!

I'd be very surprised if Bruce did that tbqh. Not very gentlemanly given he's known to enjoy the odd pint with AP on a Sunday in the Diamond, Ponteland.

Goes without saying but Colo can do one like. HBA probably embarrassed him in training every day like he embarrasses himself whenever he's supposed to be captain.

The irony being, Colo's utterly useless performances as a defender and captain might see Hatem back.

Pardew went on about Hatem not being professional but Colo is being equally if not more unprofessional. I go to work every day, I am not friends with a lot of the people i work with, in fact i don't actually like many of the people i work with however i go to work and remain professional. Maintaining a working relationship with these people. Colo spitting his dummy out is very very unprofessional.

Colo doesn't get any mitigation for his part in hounding out Hatem, but he does have a small bit of leeway for sticking 2 fingers up at Pardew after the Jonas story.

Must be hard for Colo to see a good friend getting shunted down to Norwich at a time when he really needed to be with familiar faces and friends - regardless on whether he was going to play, there should have been an active role available.

One man who will miss out this weekend is Hatem Ben Arfa. Bruce confirmed that recent loan signing from Newcastle is ineligible to face his parent club and will sit out the game, with the manager also moving to dismiss recent speculation surrounding the nature of the midfielder’s loan deal.

“I’ve heard plenty of nonsense about Hatem’s deal,” Bruce said.

“He’s signed a normal loan deal just like everybody else does. There are no breaks in it, nothing at all.

“I’ve also heard that he’s going to be sat next to me on the bench at Newcastle – he’ll be sitting in the seat marked on his ticket.

“He’s travelling with us to do a bit of training – he’s undergoing a big fitness regime which he’s gladly taking part in. He’ll then watch the match from the seat that Newcastle give him, along with any other players who aren’t involved.”

He'll be in the ground  :cheesy:

.com reporting that the clause in his contract is there. They took a pop at him though, the bell ends

Arfa chance

Contrary to reports that the loan deal that took Hatem Ben Arfa to Hull City on transfer deadline day contained no recall provision, it's now emerged that the player and the two clubs all have provision to end the agreement.

Given the poor standing of the player in the Newcastle dressing room though, it's difficult to envisage seeing Hatem again in a black and white shirt - regardless of whether Alan Pardew remained in post or not.

I don't think they have had a pop at him. They merely state he isn't very popular with certain members of the team which is now common knowledge.

Common myth. No evidence to back it up.
