Rich
Is it not just at the point where he's not that arsed? Bloke's making money hand over fist in his day-to-day.
Guest firetotheworks
Then you think about the amount of chances that were given to someone as talentless and cuntish as Nile fucking Ranger.

KaKa
£3m?! My God. That's the bargain of the summer. He'll end up somewhere like Swansea at this rate, and they'll sell him for £20m next summer. Guaranteed.
ikri
You would think that the other players would look at his treatment by pardew and wonder if a couple of bad games might see them scapegoated in the same manner
Guest firetotheworks
Nah, you only get scapegoated if you're an attacking player. The following players don't fall into that bracket: Gosling, Ameobi, Gouffran.
Ketsbaia
I just hope he chooses to stay for a final year and Pardew gets sacked during our relegation battle. Maybe an injury could keep him out for a few months to put off other clubs.
littlelunchbox
£3m At his peak, he's got to be a £20m player. The day when someone gets him performing consistently over a season or two their owner will be clapping his hands. Buy for £3m and sell for £20m. Happy days. It almost makes you wonder why Mike Ashley isn't interested in him. If he wasn't already our damaged goods, he soon would be. He will never be a £20 million player man. Flipping hell what are some of you guys smoking.
littlelunchbox
Considering his contract running down fast, we will be lucky to get 3 million.
HawK
How much would Laurent Robert or David Ginola be worth then littlelunchbox? They never tracked back and helped the team either. Your hero must of been Souness when he pushed Robert out the door.
TaylorJ_01
£3m we should all chip in and buy him.
SEMTEX
Somebody who actually wants to play for us. One of the type of players you could build a team around and who a great manager like Kev could truly turn into something special... Yet we're stuck with, "Mullins is superior to Maschereno" Pardew who alienates and strangles the potential out of any player. Unbelievable. Maschereno ended up going to Barca after Liverpool for 24 mil and Tevez to City for a reported 42 mil but nooo Pardew thought they were s**t and put them on the bench, what a wan**r. What is this? wanker. No need for that mate.

Believe it or not Pardew's problem with hba is not with his lack of tracking back or work rate or whatever. The boy has actually come on leaps and bounds in regards to those qualities compared to when he first got here.
HawK
£3m we should all chip in and buy him. Not a bad shout if the banner fund is anything to go by. Buy him then loan him to Newcastle

Flipping hell what are some of you guys smoking. I hate to tell you this but outstanding form tends to increase a players value. Hence the comment consistency comment. In a world where Andy Carroll can sell for £35m after a decent year, there is no way an on-form (for a period of time) HBA can't generate £20m. On his day, he's absolutely world class, the challenge of his next coach is getting it to be 'his day' more often than our talentless collection of bellends who put the cones out everyday. AyeDubbleYoo
Think he's too old to become a £20m player now, he could have done it easily in the past. Maybe £10m if he finds consistent form somewhere.

Guest firetotheworks
It makes no difference what the player goes for tbh. It's something that you should learn very quickly with Ashley in charge.
Unbelievable
It makes no difference what the player goes for tbh. It's something that you should learn very quickly with Ashley in charge. Exactly. Only benefits one man, who doesn't give a shit about this club.
HawK
Well other than the selling price dictating how many clubs can afford him, if it's £3m we might have 50 clubs interested. At £20m, maybe only a couple. And that means less chances of him leaving, so that makes me happier
