What a goal by Robben. He's just so good.

Still think Ribery is better?

 Pathetic.

Because the season Ribery had two seasons ago as their best player has everything to do with Robbens last or current season. Get a grip man. Robben has done something of late which he didn't do for a big part of his career which is stay consistent in terms of performance.

I really don't get why Madrid struggle with Atletico so damn much much.

Atletico doesn't let them play their counter-attacking game. Just doesn't work. It's probably a simple view but Real tends to have problems against teams that defend deep and what separates Atletico to the other spanish league teams is that they actually have genuine quality in midfield and attack as well, so they can't sit back and wait either.

But yeah, they shouldn't struggle this much in terms of tactics so next explanation might be that their players take derby far more serious as Simeone pumps them up for it than Cronaldo, Bale and Benzema.

Robben has always been more important to then in Europe and for the national team

They need Benzema to play much closer to the CBs so Bale and Ronaldo can stretch them out like Suarez does for Barca. Not sure he can do that anymore though, he's not the aggressive no 9 he was at Lyon.

That's absolutely nonsense, Robben was a bench player theseason they won the CL. The only reason he got in for semi finals and final was because of Kroos injury.

Ribery was by far their best player that year and has been most other years, it's not a coincidence that the only game they lost that year in the CL was a game Ribery didn't play.

Anyway the bloke gets 20+ assists most seasons and he still isn't respected so he probably never will be.

Robbens Netherlands didn't win a game in the Euros that season. I'm not going to argue with you, if you believe he was the best that season go ahead. Whatever makes you feel good.
