Sammys_Tekkers
Have no hard feelings towards him about his time here, but I'm glad he's gone. Hope he manages to put his injury troubles behind him.
louistoon
Really wanted him to succeed here and wish him well for the future. Seems like a sound guy
Stifler
I'm glad he's gone but have no ill feelings towards him and wish him well. His failure here was more down to injuries and just not adapting, rather than not bothering to try.

The Holland international was told he was surplus to requirements at Newcastle United last summer after returning from a loan stint with PSV Eindhoven. De Jong, 29, spent three injury-ravaged years with the Magpies and was told not to expect game-time with Newcastle last summer. And his return to the Netherlands hasn’t worked out either after earning legendary status in his first stint at the club. Ajax’s director of football Marc Overmars has confirmed De Jong is now expected to sign for the Australian A League outfit. Sydney’s Steve Corica said: “He has got a very good pedigree. “We’re looking for players like that, we want good quality coming to the club. “Hopefully in the next three or four days we can confirm who the marquee will be, but he’s one of the players that we have spoken to, but there’s been quite a few of them. “We’ve looked at over 450 players this season, so it’s been a long journey and there’s still more coming in at the moment. “We’ve just got to take our time and make sure we get the right player that fits into the way we want to play.”

Raconteur
Sydney's my team in our shitty little league, so I'm moderately excited. Of course, as a Toon fan, I know he'll play six games, tops.
Guest Howaythetoon
Never saw anyone so highly rated if only within his own country, hit the ball so tamely. Not for us anyway.he had a shot once and it was like a back pass, the ‘keeper just put his foot on it to stop the ball. Can’t remember who it was against, mind can’t remember much of his time here so non descript it was.

Guest Howaythetoon
Fuck we had two of them? Robledos they were not! The whole Pardew/McClaren years are vastly becoming a blur to me like.
Nobody
Fuck we had two of them? Robledos they were not! The whole Pardew/McClaren years are vastly becoming a blur to me like. Siem actually looked half decent the couple of times he was fit. Luuk looked like he had never played football before Was a token late January loan, so not surprised anyone would forget about him like.

Siem had fine technique he was just never on the pitch long enough that we remember it.
