Never saw anyone so highly rated if only within his own country, hit the ball so tamely. Not for us anyway.he had a shot once and it was like a back pass, the ‘keeper just put his foot on it to stop the ball. Can’t remember who it was against, mind can’t remember much of his time here so non descript it was.

You could be talking about his brother here.

Fuck we had two of them? Robledos they were not!

The whole Pardew/McClaren years are vastly becoming a blur to me like.

Siem actually looked half decent the couple of times he was fit. Luuk looked like he had never played football before  Was a token late January loan, so not surprised anyone would forget about him like.

Definitely Luuk, I remember that shot. Siem had fine technique he was just never on the pitch long enough that we remember it.

Siem was a half decent footballer who was s**** for us but could have been decent in a different style of team IMO. Luuk was one of the worst players I've ever seen for us

Nah, Premier League exposed his flaws. His body wasn’t able for it and he just sort of accepted it and never tried to toughen up. It’s happened to a lot of our gambles.

At his best he’s a silky player with a decent finish and can pick the right pass in the box.

Terrible leader though. How could he lead a team to success when he can’t even motivate himself to get strong and healthy..

shame what has happened to his career since being injured with us and so on.

He really should stand out in this league as the standard is poor . Nothing special last night but playing on the right of midfield does not help

He looked pretty good in preseason - I'm hopeful he'll do well if he manages to stay fit. However, from The World Game's website:

Le Fondre's impact will have pleased coach Steve Corica, but an injury to De Jong will have the Sydney boss concerned ahead of next weekend's clash with Western Sydney Wanderers.
