chicago_shearer
For as good as the tournament has been through the Round of 16, this has been a really flat and disappointing Quarter-Final round.
Sifu
Belgium were awful. Didn't deserve anything on the back of that performance. They've rode their luck throughout this World Cup really.

The Prophet
Belgium played exactly as expected: a youthful, disjointed side with bi tournament experience. A decent side would have dicked the Argies today.

Kaizero
Only thing that could save these QFs would be the absolute shock of Costa Rica advancing. Then again I don't want them to because Unbelievable is canny.
Mole_Toonfan
Belgium were awful. Didn't deserve anything on the back of that performance. They've rode their luck throughout this World Cup really. Also not really surprised Argentina's defence has improved as the tournament has gone on. Bigger teams just tend to concentrate more when they play bigger games. Unbelievable
Wilmots such a sour loser on Belgian TV. Accusing Argentina of parking the bus
Segun Oluwaniyi
The easiest match Argentina have played this tournament. Every other team have given them a harsh challenge, but Belgium contributed absolutely nothing to the game. Much like France yesterday, it hardly seemed that they were making much of an effort, tbh. They had one shot on goal in the 75th or so minute, having been down since the eighth minute, with Hazard, Mertens, Mirallas, Origi, De Bruyne, and Lukaku all featuring for their team. Embarrassing. Belgium were awful. Didn't deserve anything on the back of that performance. They've rode their luck throughout this World Cup really. Also not really surprised Argentina's defence has improved as the tournament has gone on. Bigger teams just tend to concentrate more when they play bigger games. They were not really tested today, tbf.
Deuce
It'd be fun to see Bernard brought in as a straight swap for Neymar against Germany. Doubt it'll happen though.

The Prophet
They did have to see off wave after wave of tedious Belgium attacks that broke down twenty yards from goal.
tmonkey
I think Mertens comes close to Nasri as having the face and general posture of an utter arrogant c***.
TRC
I've enjoyed this tournament, but the semis and the final are going to be so poor.
Deuce
Belgium in 4 years: Hazard, De Bruyne, Benteke, Lukaku, Courtois, Origi, and Januzaj will all be 27 years old or younger. Fellaini, Mirallas, Defour, Dembele, Chadli, Alderweireld, Mignolet, and Witsel will be 30 or younger. Get themselves a competent manager and unearth a couple fullbacks and that's a contender. TRC
Same with the Dutch, their team in 2002 didn't even qualify and it was quailty.
Away Toon
"Everybody talks about this Belgium team but they resorted to smashing it upfield and were terrible. Let's not talk about this team as the next generation and their attacking talent as I thought they were absolutely pathetic. From the BBC

None of them had played in a major tournament before this one. Euro 2016 is going to be another big test, but I'll be very surprised if they don't play much better then, having this tournament under their belts.
