This is terrible, what a horrible world we live in at times.

RIP John and Liam. Loved a football club and it cost them their lives following it due to this atrocity in Ukraine.

Amazed by the donation response, it's fantastic.

The ever increasing memorial has been moved to under the Milburn Stand, to protect it from the weather.

It's also at times such as this, that I feel the 'pull in the gut' to start going back to games.

Same here.

Same. I've packed in my st and vowed to never go back under Ashley.

However, I feel i have to be there in a black suit for the Citeh game :undecided:

Some things are bigger than grudges

Our dislike for Ashley is more than a grudge.

It's about the very identity of the club being systematically destroyed under his tenure.

Guest Geordiesned

Just spotted that an anonymous person has donated £500. Unbelievable.

£2000 now raised on the page set up by Gallowgate Kev and the SMB page just below £7000. Truly staggering.

Would be a fitting tribute if a little bit of humorous seeing thousands of Geordies donning black suits in memory.

Same. I was going to give MCity a miss, then got a bit tempted, but def going now. It's great to see such mourning for special fans, not just star players, I mean these guys are what the club is really all about.

Just been to sjp to pay my respects. Quite emotional seeing the impact the sad loss has had on so many. I think the area being used for tributes will need expanding soon.  Got talking to someone who uses same bus for away matches as Liam and apparently the seat on the bus he usually has is being left empty.
