Mattoon
He won't make it on the pitch, nailed on full 90 on the bench and he'll probably get injured from it.

Shays Given Tim Flowers
Ferrerya can't play. Im pretty sure it's a term of his loan agreement.
Guest zicomartin
Didnt Colo want HBA out so Chucky could take his place? seems to have worked out well.

Miercoles
It's disgusting the number of times we've seen Adam Armstrong come on the pitch instead of at least trying this fella. Has to be something shady.
thenige
God forbid we give a youngster who has scored goals for the U21s a chance to make a breakthrough to the first team. If we played loanees over our own youth prospects, people would moan about that instead.
Guest axel
He hasn't scored for the U21s. Never played for them either.

healthyaddiction
He hasn't scored for the U21s. Never played for them either. I presume you're talking about England U21's while thenige is talking about NUFC U21's.

Miercoles
You can't possibly be telling me that Adam fucking Armstrong is going to break through and be a Premier League quality striker. Playing youngsters is great, if they can fucking play. Seeing this doofus get hoyed on for the last 5-10 minutes of every losing effort is driving me absolutely bonkers, he hasn't shown the slightest hint that he can even come close to doing anything useful at all. He's like Ayoze Perez except smaller and without the talent, skill, or goalscoring ability. Heaven forbid we try something new with a guy who's supposed to be pretty decent and maybe try to win a fucking point here and there.
54
I agree with the sentiment, but I think that is slightly harsh on Armstrong, he's only 18 and has shown tremendous promise at both in the academy and reserve level, as well as being the captain and one of the better players for England under 18's. He's just inexperienced and not quite ready to be thrown into the Premier League, especially in a team that is pretty spectacularly wank. He just needs a year or two in the lower leagues, and get some meaningful game time under his belt.
La Parka
Agree, he needs match time. Not with us. He's a scapegoat for truly terrible squad management. (Armstrong) Fuck knows the deal with Chucky. This years Ignacio Gonzalez.

Deuce
Watch him make an immediate impact at his next club. I have no faith whatsoever that Pardew and Carver adequately evaluated his abilities.
Figures 1-0 Football
No way was the only reason this guy hasn't played because Pardew/Carver don't rate him. This is clearly a dodgy transfer which benefits someone in some way. Incredible that the press have allowed it to go on all season without grilling Pardew/Carver about him. Fans forum should definitely bring this up. How on Earth we can send on Adam Armstrong and lump long balls up to him, with this bloke on the books not even getting on the bench is unreal. Aye exactly. He was pretty highly rated when he came. He also did well in that pre season tournament. Dodgy as fuck this man.
Segun Oluwaniyi
I do not understand what a footballer in the prime years of his career gains from moving to a club and never playing. It makes sense for someone to do him a favour and move him from Donetsk, so close to the border and embroiled in conflict, but surely there are many teams that could use his services. He is a 24 year old who sparingly played the season before, and has now spent an entire season training with youth players in a poorly run academy. What is the point? Was the fear for his immediate safety this severe? They had been training in Kiev.
Fenham Mag
Think he'll become a cult figure. He needs a chance though, which is what I'm afraid of. Meh, half right.

The fact that Shakhtar have managed to play 23 games this season tells me the whole story was just an excuse to leave. I'm guessing the 20+ players who have contributed in those 23 games didn't fear for their lives all season. I can imagine there is a play x amount of games and you have to sign him in the loan agreement, Pardew/Carver look at him in training and think he's dogshit so too scared to play him or we'll have him permanently. When Cisse is banned for 7 games, we're on a huge losing run and this guy cant even make the bench there is definitely something wrong. As for the whole "injuries" he's had... Santon was "injured" but went straight into the Inter team and has played nearly 90 minutes in every game since. Knowing Ashley though, he wouldn't be paying this guys wages to do nothing in return - I can imagine Shakhtar are paying his wages. Like I've said, if the Fans Forum have any sense about them they should be asking the following:- 1. Why has he never played for the club despite being fit enough to do so and muddy his boots in the youth games? 2. Who is paying his wages? What loan fee did we pay to acquire him? ujpest doza
Played in the Europa League semi final last night for Shaktar Donetsk. Gave away the penalty that Sevilla equalised from.
