A la johnny B. Goode

Weeeeell... he was signed from AstonVilla on a free,

Hoped he bang 'em in like Wayne Rooney,

Turns out really that he's not that good,

and he goes by the name of Marlon Harewood

He never really learned to trap a ball or pass that well,

But can score free headers just like he's ringing a bell

Go,Go.

Go Marlon, Go,Go.

Go Marlon, Go,Go

Go Marlon ,Go, Go.

...Marlon Harewood....

What's the clapping song we always do? Been going on for years but don't know what it actually is

I think it goes

clap, clap

clap, clap

clap, clap, clap, clap clap

Inspired by seeing the old Cornetto advert the other day on Youtube...

"Fabrice Pan-cra-te

Signed on a free,

Our new right-winger,

From Gay Paris (Pah-ree)

Past full-backs,

he'll run and run,

Fabrice Pancrate,

Our twenty-one"

Sang at a tempo and repeated, could have a similar effect to the Lovenkrands & Oh Gutierrez ones last season easily. ;)

i quite like that, quite hard to get started though

Why? You just start it with a really slow FAAAAABBBBRRRIIIICCCEEEEE and people would join in, if they knew the words.

this is why i think it would be hard, quite a long song and alot of words, especially as is new, but with time and effort, no reason why this couldnt be heard in the leazes in the near future

Think we need a short, catchy one for Wor Fab

It's to the tune of 'get in to them, **** em up'

It isn't.

It's similar then.  :shifty:  The start of the clapping bit anyway.

What does it mean? I quite like it but don't know what I'm clapping for

considering ManUtd use Joy Division for "Giggs will tear you apart, again", why dont we ever use "Lov" when it is closer to word "love"? Missing a trick lads!

That is mental, I was thinking the exact same thing on Saturday at the game.  :kasper:

Anyone remember a kids tv programme called Wizadora?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wizadora

Collocini would fit quite nicely into the theme tune for that something along the lines of:

"Collocini, Collocini, he's the one with the afro at the back" !

Think this is a link to the theme tune but the sound on my laptop is boken so I couldn't check it out!

I'll start thinking up a song about Pancrate when I hear two commentators, pundits or newsreaders say his name the same way, cos I haven't yet!

It's Pan-cratt, not Pan-crate or Pan-crateh.
